We stopped here for 3 nights as a long weekend break. We were upgraded to a suite which was was lovely as the room was spacious and views were great! The staff were very friendly at the hotel and also very helpful. There was a few places to eat out as well nearby within walking distance of the hotel, which...

Hotel Laxnes was comfortable, with some quirky and whimsical furnishings. It felt much more Icelandic than larger hotels in Rekjavik where I have previously stayed, with a comfortable bar and dining area, and was quite charming. The view from our window was lovely. It could use a little freshening up. Our rooms (9 and 10) also could have used a...

We arrived for a one night stay relatively late. Very easy to check in and we were upgraded to a suite which had an amazing view of the mountains. Breakfast was good and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely go back

Myself and my boyfriend booked a week long holiday in Iceland for our first anniversary, whilst looking at hotels we decided to stay at Laxnes for its rustic charm as I am not a big fan of all glass and white modern hotels you find in Reykjavik. We emailed Shaun the hotel manager about arranging our transfers and he told...

We stayed here in early April and really enjoyed it. We had an overnight to Iceland and were super tired. We rented a car as it was cheaper than what we would've payed for the shuttle. It was easy to find with the directions on the website. The manager Shaun was really nice and let us check in early. We...

Staff were friendly, rooms were large, basic but clean, had lovely views. The hot tub was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel and it didn't disappoint, we had it to ourselves! Breakfast was included with a good choice. There's supermarkets, a bakery and a KFC pretty much next door. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want...

The rooms were adequate for our needs as we were out most of the time. They are cleaned daily and clean towels are available every day if you want them. There are toilet rolls in a large wooden holder at the bottom of the stairs and all the water is drinking water and just lovely to drink We filled out...

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights in the middle of april, it was a lovely place to stay especially for the views. We had a room which was facing out towards the mountains in the distance and on the first night it was the perfect view especially with the northern lights making an appearance. Our rooms had...
