The location is perfect. There are subway stops nearby as well. This hotel was about 5-10 minutes walk to the shops/ restaurants of Shinjuku. Having said that there are also a number of restaurants within a couple of hundred meters ( including those in the basement). We enjoyed strolling down to the craziness of Shinjuku main, but it is still super close to great sites such at the Tokyo metropolitan goverment building. We stayed, for 3 nights and found it more than good. We booked a double room and had space for both our suitcases to be open. While the bathroom is small, the water pressure was good and the toiletries were of good quality.
Stayed here for 10 days in a small room but to be honest, it had all of the facilities I required. There was a shop in the receiption area which came in handy. I got caught out with the drinks fridge. I kept using the same drink (taking it out of the fridge and placing it back) which menat that I was charged for a few cansof coke!! All sorted in receiption though. Place was clean and staff friendly. Across the road is a McDonalds and a 'English' pub where you can buy fish & chips at a good price.
This is a very long overdue review from my stay of New Year Jan 2020 Location This hotel is right in the business side of Shinjuku and well placed. Great shops just below and main floor, theres convenient store open 24/7 and restaurants within. Walking distance and easy access to Buses, train stations and yes Shopping Centres. Just outside a short walk is the Shinjuku National Park, as well as the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, and Cocoon Tower. Not to mention just short distance to all local or typical Japanese eatery, where local eats and some are open for breakfast if you want to eat like locals. And the price is reasonable. Rooms The rooms are typically of Japanese small size, not like your typical Hotel Chains. I booked a single room so I am not sure what its like for double bed. The room is very clean and well maintained. Staff Very friendly staff and very well accomodating. They will make sure you are comfortable with your stay. Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel and would i recommend it? Definitely I would recommend this Hotel very highly. Clean, staff is friendly and hospitable, convinient location to Bus, Train stations and shops. The price is budget friendly and affordable for my 4 nights of stay. Theres also a bus that will take you to Narita or Haneda. The only thing I would recommend for improvement is that the reception lobby is on 3rd Floor, and if you arrive late night or midnight, you will have to find the reception since no one available at the main lobby or the information centre is close.…
I've stay just off the entertainment side Kabukicho Shinjuku before and also on the quieter west side, ie Shinjuku Washington Hotel and I find the later much better. This was the 2nd time I stayed here and I would stay here again if I visit Tokyo. Reception is on the 3rd floor with multi racial staff and automated counters so checking in and out was a breeze. Room was small as expected but clean and compact. Within walking distance from the Shinjuku station and Kabukicho area, Shinjuku Gyoen National garden. Loads of restaurants and shops around, including several on the ground and basement floor. Has the airport bus right at its doorstep for about 3000+ yen.
it's accessible to the train station and to the most shopping centers. but their room is less than 5 square meters, very squeeze, ventilation no good, I can hardly breathe. and the double bed is so small. the toilet is clean but very small. end of the day, good for a night or two stays.
