Park Hyatt Tokyo, built ~30 years ago, is not a new hotel, but still worth staying. Before checking in, they carefully prepare welcome gifts for me. This meticulous approach to guests is impressive. The decoration and accessories of the room are also full of history, and it can be seen that they are carefully designed rather than mere formality. I can even find their specially prepared Shinjuku tour brochure and Tokyo skyline introduction in the room, which is really pleasant. I'd like to say a big thanks to Sekiguchi-san, who helped me with my check-in, showing me around the room. She is so attentive and thoughtful, introducing everything that I may need. It is a really nice journey. Hope to see you again and explore this hotel soon.

Beautiful room, fantastic service. Room was big, chic, with beautiful views. Bathtub was a must, as it views out onto the city. Breakfast in our room was outrageously delicious and relaxing. Had drinks at New York bar at night which was enjoyable and a bit if a taste of home.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. We received a free upgrade for our room. The hotel and staff went above and beyond for our anniversary. Welcome gifts and flowers were a perfect touch. The New York bar had a live Jazz band which was great! Definitely worth the $$$$

Preparation: Anywhere you go in Japan, you need to be precise. I set my arrival to 9am but arrived at 7am since I left my prior hotel early. Big mistake.. lobby was empty and checkin-counter was empty (but that was my fault). But they noticed I came in, and accommodated me and treated me in a focused manner. So their flexibility and courteous attitude was great! But I recommend for travelers to set your arrival time as precisely as possible for the best experience. NOTE: The reception is at 41st floor and NOT the main floor. So don't be surprised you walk in and nobody is around to greet you. It felt like a Wall Street office building-- without a lobby guard. Just be sure to arrive at the time you specify as they plan well ahead for your arrival. Getting to your rooms is a little weird as the lobby is the 41th floor, and the rooms elevators are split in 2 near the business center. You need to walk past the Peak Lounge to get to the guest elevators. Location: All the spots I wanted to go to was far away from the hotel so I can't say I could walk out and find my eats/spots. But I used a taxi service to get around the city so it wasn't a big deal. Rooms: Amazing views, nice spacious rooms, I wish there were more USB ports and outlets. The outlets are two prong 120V without ground, but they did provide in the room conversions (European and US grounded). But it was hard to find enough plugs for all my electronics but no big deal. Just be sure you're ready with your USB devices with a hub or something if you are traveling with more than 2 persons. Rooms had Nespresso and Japanese tea with nice ceramic wares. Stocked fridge, and a welcome sweet box of treats to greet you. My room was 4715 and it was massive -- I believe I got upgraded due to Exploits status. Very nice, and I got a view of Mount Fuji! But it's visible only at dawn/dusk or on a cloudy day, as it's 100km+ away. Decor is still OK for 2022 but I can see many travelers would think it's already dated. I think updating the USB situation and also the TV size would help. But the TV was adequate for me, and they provided lightning/HDMI for my streaming needs. Food: If you’re from US, feel free to skip the restaurant and explore locally instead. Breakfast was fine -- but I think the other restaurants perhaps better to explore locally. Concierge, which included a guy named Adrian who was fluent was amazing. I had tried to book an unagi (BBQ eel) restaurant, but they are usually booked and only speak Japanese. He took care of everything. So HIGHLY recommend you use Park Hyatt to make all your restaurant reservations, as it's incredibly difficult to communicate with English, even in Tokyo. If you are short on time, the hotel can help arrange an all-day limousine service. I had only 1 day and wanted to hit all the places I could... it was pricey, but so worth it. Especially during the summer (100F+ weather). You would think you could walk around and explore. But it was incredibly hot, as it was early August. They stopped at every hot spot for me, while I used Google Maps, Google Translate for my exploration. Totally worth it, as they will wait at each stop for you. Business Center: This place was amazing. If you're there for business, this center is very nice, and has immaculate views. Since I arrived at 7am, they gave me a private room and it was very comfortable and relaxing after a long plane ride. 2 hours is included with your reservation, which was plenty for me. Overall: Overall this was a nice hotel, albeit the most expensive Hyatt hotel. Most buildings in Tokyo were built a while ago, so don't expect modern here, but the aesthetic was timeless I think. It's perfect for a business trip.

Very high standard hotel, I really loved the experience. Breakfast was a bit pricy, but very sophisticated. It's a shame there was no buffet, I would have preferred that to be honest. The room was wonderful, I would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing night!

Overall my stay was okay, but not what I expected. I was very excited about staying at this hotel with the wonderful views, I envisioned drinking coffee, having lunch and staring out into the city, or drinking at the bar and enjoying the view. The restaurants were not able to accommodate. The peak lounge does not have a full menu and there is a 2hr limit on the bar, and it closes early, 10pm I think. Also, i had my privacy light on and was disrupted 2x. The beds were hard, but I think that’s The Japanese culture.
