Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have stayed in this Hotel with my family while traveling through Japan. The place is exactly in the middle of the Kabukicho area, so you will always find to eat, to have fun in any way and lots of night life. Nevertheless the area is very safe: never had a problem. The hotel is situated in a way that it is quiet so perfect location. Literally 10 mins walk from Shinjuku station. The place is really cozy and more important, clean! The reception people are really nice. The room (Japanese style room) was just perfect…nothing to say at all.

This hotel is very near one of the landmarks in Shinjuku, which is the Godzilla at the Hotel Gracery. Being walking distance to the landmark means that you are in the busiest area of Shinjuku, almost at the center of all the action. There are taxis 24/7 in the area being located in a red light district. Don't worry because the area is safe. We stayed in this hotel on a weekend and we would usually walk home between 12 midnight to 2:00am. Hotel is great and it's clean, although rooms are small compared to other hotels. Be ready to carry your own luggage as they do not have porters and they do not have elevators. Also, they may not have a lot of services but the concierge is more than willing to help you research for answers to any questions that you may have on the area and on specific tours.

Pros: convenient to restaurants staff extremely nice service is good has belt boy service to carry your baggage in and out of your room if you stay on second floor. room is fairly big, the toilet and bathroom fairly small and they are separate Cons: google map location is wrong, TYPE THE ADDRESS in google map if you need to locate this hotel!!! some of the reviewers are right, the room does look dusty. quite some walk to shinjuku station (15 mins), so if you have baggage, recommended to book somewhere closer
