I stayed here for a few nights to cap off a long visit to Tokyo and was pleased with my choice. It’s right in the centre of a lively area that gives you a real sense of the loud, bright and sometimes edgy area of Tokyo. The hotel is very modern, clean and has friendly staff. I stayed in 1801 on the 18th floor which gave a great view of the city but occasionally had some issues of noise from the cleaning crews coming and going at the store room opposite my door, (hence 4/5). The Godzilla is a great touch and don’t forget to head out into the balcony to get up close to the big boy! As a note, the area is very lively so be prepared to have to walk through the middle of the action, and sometimes fend off the odd bar hawker, although security teams make sure they don’t cause too much hassle.…
Great promotions on Hustle & Grind, now I can work peacefully without the noise of my little ones. The hotel is so cosy, clean and comfortable. Love the food from snacks to lunch and can’t wait to have dinner with my children here. If you are having important meetings, events and a need to have a refreshing change of environment. This is a perfect place to work from hotel. Very innovative way to continue to serve guests with several value for money promotions I like how they made Social distancing marks so fun and creative Most importantly for an ex-hotelier and business owner like me, Amazing service, I feel like I am home :-)
Nice hotel with lots of restaurants around. Room is a bit small for a family of three. Bathroom was huge with bathtub. The hotel and room is very clean. Close to Robot restaurant and train station. Great place to stay for families. There is a 7 eleven on the ground floor.
The hotel is very good. The room my family stayed in had a great view and was roomy given the location in Tokyo. The free cellphone is nice. The breakfast buffet had a great variety that adults and kids can enjoy. The Godzilla statue was memorable and kids enjoyed hearing it roar. Overall we enjoyed the stay.
I booked this hotel based on Booking.com recommendation and I CANNOT recommend this hotel enough. I have stayed in many 5 star luxury properties where so many things don’t work: the faucets, the lights are complicated, the outlets are not convenient. This hotel however has it all down to a system. The rooms, though small compared to normal rooms, are so smartly designed I want to live there full time if I could. The bathrooms/onsens had ample water pressure, the TV/outlets all worked and were convenient for charging, the light switches were well labeled and intuitive (you have no idea how many places overcomplicate the light switches). The best part of this hotel is it’s location, right in the heart of Shinjuku and right above a 7 Eleven (which is where most of the US Based ATMs actually work). And if there was an even better part of the experience was that the hotel is moderately priced for those who are on a budget for $100-200/night. The hotel does brisk business with tour groups so prepare for a busy lobby. But other than that, I would gladly stay here overtime I visit Tokyo; I just wish there were more hotels like this in all of the major cities!…
We were greeted whenever we would enter or exit the hotel by the lovely staff. The room was so clean with a great view over Shinjuku Tokyo. It's close to restaurants, shopping and konbini downstairs! Godzilla viewing platform was great with views over the city. The breakfast buffet was delicious as was the restaurant upstairs. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
A solo room directly looking out on the Godzilla head. Despite the noisy head, the soundproofing in the room was excellent, and I didn't have any problems sleeping in. Close enough to walk to Shinjuku station and Golden Gai
if you don't want to hear Godzilla roar, it's easy to find a room in this very large hotel to avoid it - and he stops roaring fairly early in the evening anyway - for us as first-time visitors the location was very good and the area full of cool stuff to investigate - as is the norm in japan the service was excellent - the concierge staff cannot do enough to assist with any question or request - nice to have a laundry room onsite and we never had to wait for machines - don't remember the room being especially small maybe we were prepared for that as part of the japan experience
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the amenities were clean and the ladies working at the front desk were very gracious and ready to help whenever needed. The location is very convenient and within walking distance to train stations, restaurants, stores and several tourist attractions. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Tokyo.
This hotel has a Godzilla that goes off on the hour. Loved it!! The staff are very friendly and knowlegable. The hotel is located close to trains, restaurants etc.I would recommend staying at this hotel, but not sure if the area is good for younger kids, as it does seem to be more a party area. The rooms are nice, but be aware, the beds are tiny! We had to upgrade to a twin bed, as the double was way to small!
