Neighbourhood
Ginza, Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

Stayed here for 4 nights as a treat with a friend. Service is faultless and is how it should be - staff anticipating needs, quietly coming and going without being seen and most importantly, without unnecessary conversation and chitchat but obviously doing their job 110%....More

If you're going to Tokyo to explore, book at the peninsula since location wise it's on top of a subway station, and already near a major shopping district. If you're going to Tokyo to relax, and spend more time in the... More

I think the tattoos are more of an issue when you go to the hot springs. The hotel pools such as at Peninsula should be ok. Maybe ask the hotel at check-in and see what they say.
