Business hotel. Friendly check in. Excellent shuttle service with train/metro station every 15 min. Free of charge. Rooms are small, but complete. Bathrooms are clean. Buffet breakfast has excellent choices.

I stayed two nights at this hotel. Room is spacious and clean. There are several restaurants in the hotel and many more near Shin-Osaka Station. Their shuttle bus to Shin-Osaka Station was very convenient. I visited Kyoto, Kobe and Himeji as a day trip. I would use this hotel aga

Booked this place due to station vicinity and first appointment in the morning not too far from the hotel. Frankly I was not expecting nothing fancy, but the rooms are small, shabby, dirty and nothing like in the pictures. I understand that they mainly cater to Chinese tourists a

The review rating of this hotel attracted me first and after checking various sites I found that the hotel site offered a good deal with breakfast and dinner combined, therefore I decided to stay here. I used the shuttle bus service from Shin Osaka station. The location of the bu

Being close to Shin-Osaka station made it very comfortable for us. Rooms are small (usual Japanese format) toilets are super congested. Loved the staff though, they were polite and friendly, the shuttle service made our day.

is the price that tag in this hotel include breakfast too?
When I've booked on one of the hotel booking sites there is an option for breakfast. I've always opted for breakfast as it IS substantial with lots of choice. The only drawback is it closes at 9.30am, so if you like to sleep in, you probably wouldn't want breakfast. There surprisingly are no other cafes, convenience stores or facilities to get breakfast in the immediate area, so you would have to purchase before you go back to the hotel & eat in your room or take shuttle into Shin Osaka station. It is cheaper to pre-book breakfast, I recall, rather than purchase on the day.

Hi, i like ask if there is baby cot provided as i have a 1 year old baby. Also, if there is 2 double adjoining rooms (1 room for 2 adults + 1 baby, and the other room for 2 adults). Looking for dates on the 13th and 19th November. We'll also like to put our luggage in the hotel after 13th while we go to Kyoto. Thanks
I wouldnt know but its a big modern hotel so probably can help.

Is it possible to do Kyoto on day trips from here or is it better to find a hotel in Kyoto, which I have heard is more expensive ?
You can certainly visit Kyoto on a day trip in that its easy to travel from Osaka to Kyoto (plenty of trains) but whether you could actually see an awful lot in Kyoto in a day is in my opinion questionable.

On arrival at Shin Osaka station where do we go to get the shuttle bus to the hotel
If you arrive by shinkansen at Shin Osaka Station, take the central exit and turn right towards the NORTH exit of the station. Walk about 30-40 metres. You will see an escalator going down. Take that down one level. turn immediately right and you will see stairs going down on right and elevator on left. You can take either. Go down to street level. At street level turn LEFT. Walk towards the bridge. the shuttle bus stop is sign posted. It is directly under the bridge beside a very large bicycle parking area. After the bus stop are taxis. It is a very convenient service once you can find the stop. I cannot post a link to the directions on this blog; so I suggest you search for Osaka Garden Palace Hotel Shuttle access & you should get useful information with photo directions.

"If you have lots of luggage you may use taxi instead of hotel's shuttle bus."
"Higher floor is better"
"Make sure you request non smoking because it is a popular hotel and fills up quickly"
"High floors have great city views."
"Ask for rooms far from elevator. Its quieter. IF travelling with children (teens) double check they too are offered breakfast buffet."
