Perfect hotel for a stay in the center if Osaka. Many plus : - great location, shopping and dining options at walking distance, metro stations, and 10 min away by taxi from every Osaka highlight - extremely clean rooms - 4 stars services and staff at the level (laundry, rooms service, etc...) - several breakfast options and lunch/diner options in the hotel, good quality (but not cheap contrary to the restaurants outside the hotel) - comfortable room, though not large but included all the options to make you comfortable (a/c working well, good wifi, bathroom amenities, mini bar, fully equipped closet with perfume for clothes in addition to the traditional iron...) - 24h reception and concierge, taxi and luggage service, by efficient staff - reasonable prices for the quality Minus: - big hotel which lack a bit of personality/local vibes To recommend for business purpose of city breaks…
This is a great hotel in a central part of Osaka. Clean rooms with no lingering smells. Skipped the $25 breakfast. Family mart and Lawson less than 5 minutes walk from the entrance. Helpful staff and great views of the city from the top. Not a bad stay at all. 2000 yen parking.
Spent one night at this property. It is very well located within the Shinsaibashi-Suji shopping street. Rooms are small, as is the case with most Japanese hotels, but well furnished, modern and clean. Price is a little high
spend 3 nights in this hotel. the staffs are really friendly and helpful. The service is very fast for check in and check out. Its location is really great. Walking distance for shopping areas and restaurants. Have an access to the train station and makes us easier to reach the hotel. The room is spacious, clean and very comfort. The staffs are very professional and trained well. Really love this hotel!!
I have stayed in this hotel for four instances already, always loved the place, its located in Midosuji avenue, opposite Namba and it has always been a beautiful walk to traverse this avenue all the way after dotombori river, and walk back passing thru the covered shopping area. Its in the quiet side of Midosuji which makes the hotel very conducive for older travellers than me. My slight complain--the hotel should at least offer an opening to their windows, during winter, the rooms can get stuffy and hot, even with the humidifier, it can get hot and you tend to perspire, the rooms are not that big but they are ok, breakfast selection is good, but I also noticed on certain occasions, the language barrier can prove to be troublesome, you would think you are understood by the staff you are talking to but in reality, they do not, but be that as it may, it is still a very good hotel and I would stay here again,m april maybe…
Very close to Shinsaibashi and the hotel is very nice. Within walking distance to the shopping areas and major department stores. There were kids staying on the floor which I stayed on and they were extremely noisy. Breakfast was great!
Have visited Shinsaibashi area on a number of occasions but on this occasion stayed 3 nights at the mentioned hotel right in the area of Shinsaibashi. There is a direct airport bus route from Kansai International Airport to the hotel and is more convenient than to take the metro line. The hotel staff will also assist you to convey your luggage from the bus to the reception and vice versa. The hotel itself is classified to be of 4 stars and thus provided you with the required services. The standard room is adequate for couple to stay comfortably and all room accessories are readily available for travellers. Hotel reception and room services staff are professional trained and customers are well received with no complaint. My daughter, who is on her first time visit in Japan, approaches the staff for assistance on her travel itineraries and is well guided with patience. The areas of Namba, Nippombashi and Shinsaibashi are all within walking distance, and metro lines are right below the hotel for travel convenience. With regards to catering there should be no problem. Food mall/court and good restaurants are available for your choice. Have been in Japan on a numerous occasions and this is the first location I find to be most convenient. Strongly recommended to all travellers who would like to spend time for shopping and delicious food.…
We had a terrible experience during check-in. We booked 5 nights in Hotel Nikko Osaka in two separate bookings via Agoda. After the long day and four years old fell asleep( carrying during check-in) we were super tired. However, the check-in time took longer than 30mins, as they could not recognise two separate bookings under the same name, and did not arrange the same room for 5 consecutive days. The hotel staff “[-]” was very rude, and mixed up the booking with another night at Nikko Kansai airport hotel after those 5 nights, and was mad that we have 3 bookings separately... In addition, the room size is smaller than expected(34sqm) and the condition is not as good as what we see in the pictures on the hotel website.
Very good hotel and it is at one of the best locations as it is close to the Shinsaibashi district (a famous shopping precinct). And close to food locations and main high end shopping location. The best of all is its central Osaka location so it is easy to go anywhere. The hotel was built in the 80s apparently but it has been maintained very very well. The few restaurants located inside the hotel are very good quality and the few cafes in B2 is also worth trying. Rooms are adequately sized with modern shower and bath. Staff are friendly too. Overall a great hotel and at a very good location.
If you’re looking to be close to all the action this is a great option. On a street parallel to the Shinsaibashi and walking distance from a lot of great restaurants. I couldn’t find a fault. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. In room amenities were good. The view from our room was quite fantastic too. And the continental breakfast (same on both days) was extensive.
