Spend 3 days 2 nights for transit to Sapporo. Super great Experience. So many books and mangas (in English language). Plan to walking around the neighborhood but end up spending nights reading manga with blanket and warm coffee (free flow!) Staffs are really friendly! We play card together with them in the middle of the night. 7-11 just down the street. Bathrooms are very modern and spotless. Will sure come back again in near future. Thank you!
Hostel Den is a modern chic hostel at an extremely reasonable price. The staff are accommodating and very helpful even if you don't speak any Japanese. The beds are comfy and the curtains are so dark you can easily forget what time it is without an alarm. Along with free coffee (a godsend) there's a projector screen and the staff were happy to put a movie on on the odd nights I wasn't out on the town. Very valuable after a long day of sightseeing when you just want to relax before bed.
One of the best Hostels I've been in. I must say it's a very beautiful place, with many different books (the design ones were specially interesting for me!), coffee and tea whenever you want. They even put a movie in the afternoon!I stayed in the all-female bedroom, quiet and with really big and modern bunk beds. Really friendly staff, clean place. Nothing bad to say! Thank you for letting me stay!
For my first time solo travelling the dorm hostel was the perfect first location to visit! With a 7/11 half a block away and the shinsaibashi shopping district a 5 minute walk away it’s the perfect location to stay in Osaka! The staff are friendly and always put on a smile when welcoming you and saying goodbye as you come and go. They can also put on anime films of your choice if you ask offering a wide selection. The facilities are good as well as there is a free to use coffee machine serving both cold/hot coffee. Perfect locker space being able to fit a large travel rucksack in the bigger locker with a secure lockbox fit for your wallet/passport/valuables inside the “capsule” the bed was extremely comfortable and big in size (perfect for being 6,3 & taller). They also offer to wash your sheets if you ask them before 11am also! Overall a amazing place to stay in the heart of Osaka!…
I stayed for 2 days. It was a plesant stay. The place was clean. Staff was friendly and regularly clean up the place. I like the coffee machine which I can have a cup of hot coffee conveniently in the cold weather. Nice coffee.
The staff was very kind, helpful and welcoming! They made sure that I knew where everything was and that there was tea and coffee available to make in the kitchen. It's got a great location and the layout of the hostel is great. I loved how the shelves of the main space were filled with a variety of things for guests to peruse plus the varied seating around. The main space was quite bustling the night I stayed there (I was only there for a night, but had my plans involved a longer stay I would have likely enjoyed it even more), but it didn't feel overwhelming (in terms of crowding or noise) and it was still quiet in the room itself. I slept great and it was a comfortable and spacious enough bed. The showers and toilets were wonderful and very clean! I would definitely recommend this hostel and intend to tell my friends to stay here for whenever I hear that they plan to stay in Osaka!…
Second time to stay here, still love it and definitely will come back again! Very convenient location, cozy bed, quiet & comfy common room (with lots of books!! Love it! ....And a complete collection of Otomo Katsuhiro’s comic books “AKIRA”. If you haven’t read it- I highly recommend it!) supportive and friendly staff. Has a small kitchen with all necessary utensils. Best thing about the Dorm: free delicious coffee!! Really appreciate the hospitality.
For the first leg of my trip in Japan, I decided to stay at this hostel as recommended by a friend of mine. This centrally-located hostel is easy to find and reach - just a 5-to-10-minute walk from either Shinsaibashi and Nagahoribashi Metro Stations. The interior design of the hostel was truly impressive, with the brown colour tone and the feature walls composing with actual books. The bed spaces offered much privacy and was more spacious than what I expected from a dorm bed space. The unlimited coffee supply was definitely a much-appreciated perk. If I have to pick one not-so-satisfactory thing, I would say it’s the lack of cultural exchanges between guests, though this is not the fault of the hostel management. Would definitely recommend this hostel to friends who are visiting Kansai on a budget.…
Cleanliness was 10/10, I loved the spacious beds and the privacy of the woman only area. They also had a little kitchen that had the best coffee machine that just made the stay perfect. Everything was just very well thought out. Also the staff was always extremely friendly and helpful. Can not think of one thing to improve 😊
I had a great time staying at the Dorm, it was such an experience because its my first time to try staying at a Hostel. The bathroom area was always clean and beds were comfortable! I stayed at the all girls dorm and it was really quiet and my stay was very pleasant! They have the best coffee too! Oh and staff are very accommodating 😊
