My partner, 7 month year old daughter and I came to Lusty Beg and were not disappointed. The ferry across makes it feel like you are somewhere completely different! Reception staff were welcoming and very helpful on arrival and explained where everything was on the island. The rooms are modern and spacious with a huge bathroom that included a bath...

Oh wow, a girlfriend and I did a Living Social deal to stay here for the weekend and have a spa treatment. I had never been before and can't wait to come back! The most beautiful setting, lovely rooms, fabulous food, friendly helpful staff (Stephan and Laura need special mention) but even better than that is the absolute quiet. The...

We stayed at Lusty Beg for 2 nights, first weekend in January. We had been bought this as a wedding gift and after a very busy Christmas we booked our stay. Our room was in the Courtyard, very nice indeed, very warm and welcoming and bed extremely comfortable. Each and every member of staff very helpful and accommodating, especially Samantha...

the ground staff (see later). Everything was perfect from arrival to our departure. The ferry was quick, the reception had given us our keys within minutes and myself the wife and 3 boys plonked our luggage, gear and ourselves in the room after a 3 hour journey from Belfast. Ok the room - It was the ground floor of one...

I am currently at Lusty Beg Island for a New Years break with my young family. We got a living social offer for a very reasonable price so couldn't resist coming and seeing what all the fuss is about! We checked in around 2pm and fortunately our room was ready. We stayed in a courtyard room which had 2 large...

Beautiful setting, food and rooms are perfect and setting is stunning. We received a complementary treatment which was great but we happened to be lucky and squeeze in other wise we would have received any. Strongly advice to book the spa treatments in advance or you could be disappointed as other were. If the spa was open for a full...

I recently booked my Mother in via a Groupon deal for 2nights stay. Ground floor accommodation was requested for medical reasons. Upon arriving they stuck her in a grotty, dark room up a flight of stairs. As soon as the front door was opened the stench of vomit in the hall hit you. I mentioned to staff twice as did...

It's been a while since we've been to Lusty Beg and it was nice to see it's had a bit of a makeover. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant is great with very friendly staff. Service at the bar can be a bit slow. Main problem was the food. On previous visits the...

A few years ago I visited. The setting of this place is absolutely stunning. Stayed in a chalet. Comfortable accommodation, just to get your head down each night, but youd not spend much of your time in the cabin, especially with what's around you. Good catering in the main house from memory too. A small chain ferry gets you onto...
