Staying very comfortably in a unique place, the B&B is situated in a very well renovated old city home in the old centre and a quiet area of the beautiful and ancient city of Agnone, characteristically situated on a hill top in the unspoilt Italian region of Molise.

This was the second time I stayed at Locanda La Campana. I stayed there on my own the first time, and it was so perfect that we had to return as a family. It is just the ideal place - a gentle oasis carved out of medieval stone. Easy walking distance to everything, with room for at least 5 people...

We had the opportunity to stay at Locanda La Campana while visiting relatives in Angone. Unfortunately during our stay one of our party had to be briefly hospitalized. Rosita, the inkeeper, went above and beyond our expectations to assist us during a difficult time. Her establishment is charming and comfortable and the personal service she offered us was a true...

This is a spectacular restoration of an old stone building with only two large rooms both an entire floor. Bathrooms are beautiful and the hot water works perfectly. Rooms are decorated with nice antiques and fine art. The inn is set on a cobbled pedestrian only side street so no traffic noise. Parking on the street was readily available within...

If your travels take you to Agnone, we highly recommend staying at Locanda La Campana! It is a lovingly restored building down a little alleyway with beautiful finishings and gorgeous decor by the very hospitable proprietor, Rosita. We woke up to church bells on Sunday morning, which made this place even more enchanting. Next time we will visit the Marinelli...

We were intending to explore Agnone and found this gem online. Upon arrival we were so astonished to see the pictures do not really do justice to how really great this place is. The owner and staff were so attentive to our needs and questions. Exploring the town was made even more pleasant by having this nice place to relax...

The property is absolutely wonderful. There are only two rooms, both big and high end, and when we were there, we had the entire house to ourselves. Rosita and Pasquale are just terrific and charming people. They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and happy in Agnone. Short of buying our own place there,...

We feel very fortunate to have found this gem in the little town of Agnone. Our stay was wonderful and Rosita and her husband Pasquale (a top guy at the must-see Agnone bell factory) made us feel right at home. We arrived late into Agnone and couldn't find the location, but we called Rosita who sent someone out to meet...

I found this place on the internet, and thought the reviews sounded good, and they were not wrong. Rosita is a wonderful host, and her small B&B is perfectly kept. The rooms are stylish, warm and clean, and if you haven't put on 5 pounds after a few of those plentiful and delicious breakfasts then perhaps you should see a...

One of the highlights of our vist to Agnone was the hospitality of Rosita & Pasquale Marinelli and our stay at the beautiful historical Lacanda La Campana lovingly restored by Rosita. My father was born in Agnone and Pasquale arranged for me to meet with genealogical researcher to trace 3 generations of my family and to locate the house my...
