We stayed for 3 nights and occupied 2 spacious rooms with large, connecting balconies. The rooms were clean, strong a/c and good warm water. Mirissa is our favorite beach, pristine and breathtaking. We couldn't have picked a better place to soak in this brilliant strip of beach than Mirissa Bay Resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were literally on the beach! We made the booking with Gayuru, who was courteous and helpful. He showed us our rooms on arrival and inquired if it was up to expectation. Isuru, was our main server throughout. There wasn't a local delicacy or cocktail he wasn't able to deliver with a smile! The rest of the restaurant staff were equally good. The food was exceptional! We had fresh fish daily and even our rather fussy kids enjoyed the cuisine! Lastly, I must mention the manager Mr. Samarawickrema. He is relatively new to the hospitality trade, but it is evident that he makes a great effort to ensure the comfort of all his guests and even his staff. Location is very good because it is on the beach of the Indian ocean. Room was very small and with averagy equipments. Just a few room have with ocean wiev. Very noisy at night because of the parties on the beach. Dinner was perfect on the beach.

Couple mates and I came to mirissa for surf and a beach vibe. Ran into mirissa bay resort and we were treated with amazing hospitality. Beautiful clean spot on the beach with an amazing bartender who was on point with drinks. Highly recommend!

One of the best restaurants and can’t even put it into words how friendly and nice all the staff is. Made my staying def a lot better. Great food, great shisha. Imagine smoking by the beach while you enjoy a cold drink and some great food. Thank you so much for making my time in here.

Everything was amazing! From the food to the service to the stuff. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive to us and the other customers. We even had this incident where my friend ordered a drink that she didn’t really like, and the manager offered her a glass of wine to make sure that she is extremely delighted of their service. I recommend you to visit this lovely restaurant if you ever find yourself in Mirrisa. Top!
