Clean spacious room with, two king beds, two fans and AC. As we stayed for 5 nights we got a discount on the rate. Think one of the most comfortable beds we had the whole trip. Bit strange that you had to go to the balcony to enter the bathroom, but no big deal once you get used to it....

Warm and welcoming family with two kids our two girls enjoyed playing with (and their toys). Set just off the beach so nice and quiet at night yet only a couple minutes walk from the sand. We stayed in the family room which had two large double beds, ensuite and a big table that was really useful. There was even...

Stayed here for 3 nights and really liked it! Location was just 2 minutes from the beach but without the noise at night. Also close to the mainstreet, where you can find better options for dinner! The owners are really nice and can help you with excursions. I had a room with A/C and balcony and that one was nice!

We stayed 5 nights at the Calidan Hotel - it was a decent room with a private bathroom and allocated seating area. Two minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the main strip. The family were lovely and we enjoyed chatting to them and playing with the children. Kasun was kind and generous. We didn't realise that...

The owners are such nice people. They will go out of their way to please you and make sure you are comfortable. Rooms are clean and comfy and the breakfast is huge. Ask the owner about the whale tours, he will take you to the boats and even pick you up.

Place is clean enough and has large rooms. Owner was very helpful to arrange our whale watching tour and transportations. Towels looked a bit worn and unclean, rugs in the room kinda old and used, and toilet didn't have a door handle. Also the door to our rather small own balcony was hard to open/close. Breakfast was basic, nothing fancy...

We stayed three nights at Calidan and had a lovely time. The location is a 3 minute walk to the beautiful beach in Mirissa. The hosts offer a delicious Sri Lankan or English breakfast (ask for Sri Lankan). The room was quite basic, but very clean, with a nice balcony. The shower and pluming work well. The Calidan guest house...

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They helped us organise wale watching, dropped us off and picked us up after. The room was clean and spacious and good value for money, with amazing breakfast of fruit, avocado, fried egg and toast included. Great location, walking distance to the beach.

My partner and I stayed for two nights and were looked after very well. As soon as we arrived I asked the owner if there was anywhere nearby to watch the football and get some food. Before I knew it he borrowed a tuk tuk and drove me to get take away, and while waiting he updated his tv subscription...

Stayed here for two nights the location is good and the service excellent but the rooms are terrible. Our door barely opened, the bed was uncomfortable, room was noisy and the overall its was just not very good. They were doing building work when we were there so maybe once this is finished they will update the room however for...
