The best place I had stayed at Sri-Lanka. Ideal for families and companies. We were 3 families with children and enjoyed staying in this place very much. big plus is cosy and safe territory inside where children can play. Also, for us Aurveda point inside was very good - we could have a massage without leaving children alone. Manager Laksman is very attentive, kind and responsive person and he even helped us to receive our forgotten staff when we were outside Mirissa. Rooms are clean and equipped with AC and fans, all worked good, comfortable beds. Location is very good, 2 minutes from beach. Highly recommend this place!
I found this hotel to have an excellent location for the beach and restaurants, the staff and manager mr Lakshman were always helpful and really made me feel at home, my room was super comfortable especially the lovely soft bed which made for a comfortable nights rest.....
We stayed at this hotel for three nights and the stay cost us US$90 per night per couple. While the staff here is prompt and the service is pretty good, the price we paid - we feel is not worth as they do not even provide water bottles in the room. The day we reached we checked in late, one of the rooms wasn't clean and the AC wasn't working. Only because the staff ran around to fix it, we could survive three nights. I'd like to thank Mr. Laxman - the hotel manager for his prompt service and attention to detail. Every request was attended to by him and his team. He made us feel at home despite a bad start. Only because of him we didn't leave Mirissa on a sour note. However, the management MUST ensure they have a standard operating procedure which is followed before and after every guest check-in (including cleaning the room, flush in working condition) and must provide water in the rooms for the price we were charged! Location - is the highlight of this place. It is a minute walk to Mirissa Beach. Food at the hotel is superb although slightly expensive. For breakfast you need to walk to the opposite side (their other hotel - Surf Sea Breeze ) which is a beachside hotel and is not a hassle at all. Get a table right on the beach and wait for your awesome breakfast! I'd have given them 5 stars if the price was right. But then again, we stayed here during New Year's, hence maybe expensive. Should have been around US$ 50-ish but definitely not US$90! …
stayed here a week and thoroughly enjoyed it , the room was clean and comfortable , good a\c and fan, big bathroom , kettle coffee ect. The manager/caretaker Lakshman could not do enough for us, even bringing us local breakfast , morning tea for my wifes 60th bday , putting our washing out in sun to dry and folding up for us, a lovely man.
If one ever looks for a truly clean, affordable place right by the beach of Mirissa, this place is a total find. It’s charming and cosy, located in the corner of the beach and easily accessible from the beach as well as from the main road. The man who runs it is very straight forward, helpful, accommodating, polite, and resourceful. After searching and trying a couple of places in the same price range, I feel so bloody lucky to discover this little gem.
