We stayed at the villa for nine days and would come again. The villa is quiet and right on the water with surf and coral. The villa is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. Mirissa Beach, perhaps the most beautiful beach on earth, can be reached on foot or by TuckTuck. The host was very friendly and always helpful. A separate power generator is available, so that power failures are not noticeable. The internet connection was always strong and stable.
Villa Saltasia is a small boutique hotel with 3 rooms. Architecture and the interior was simple but tastefully done. Rooms and seating areas are very comfortable. The view is just breath-taking from the Sea View room or from the seating areas. Aruna, the Manager was very friendly, efficient and looked into all details and our needs. The two ladies who help around during the day were also helpful and friendly. Highly recommend if you need a peaceful and comfortable stay in Mirissa away from the hussle and bussle but close enough to all where it happens.
Villa Saltasia is a hidden gem and spot of tranquillity in Mirissa. Just after the main beach strip (accessible with a 15 min walk through coconut hill or a 5 min Tuk Tuk ride) it is a serene and peaceful spot where to enjoy pool services and incredible food. The room was spacious and nicely decorated overlooking the sea. The service attentive and always helpful in organizing transfers with fair prices. Highlight was the breakfast as a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan food was served each morning with a changing choice. The restaurant for other meals is also great. Great price value for location and service. Highly recommended
Rarely do you end up finding such gems over a random internet search. My love for Mirissa has increased manifolds after discovering this place. Literally everything about this villa is outstanding. Tastefully done decor, spectacular location, world class staff and great food. Aruna the manager made our stay more than perfect. Kudos to him. I am sure to keep coming back here over and over again.
I visited this colonial style boutique villa during off-season. Although it was a very short stay, it was like a home-away from home. I was highly satisfied by the experience and atmosphere I had there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Specially Aruna the reservation officer was a very transparent and supportive guy, he did his best to make us aware of the facilities and things to do etc.. rooms and bathroom had very sweet aroma, and they were spotless and very clean. breakfast was delicious. If you are looking for a lonely hideout away from the hassle in a bustling city, this is the only place you must go to refresh yourself.
