We had a tour through Sri Lanka and Mirissa was our final destination for 7 days. As soon as we arrived we already had the feeling that we were not welcome. A middle aged man (looked like the manager) is beyond rude, he didn't even look at you when you speak to him, and that repeated every day. The lady,...

The hotel enjoys a beautiful beach view which is quite possibly its only saving grace. Guests are forced to stay on a half-board basis...probably because no one would choose to dine there of their own accord! The dinner buffet was abominable whereas the breakfast one was relatively much better. The a la carte options are likewise unpalatable. It is a...

After having been in Sri Lanka for a few days I now realise that they probably don't know the definition of a hotel, resort and motel and the differences between them. The only reason I gave it a 2 star rating is the beach and view of surrounding nature. Upon arrival we were offered a "welcome drink" but there was...

This is a great place along the south coast to stop for lunch en route to or from Galle. Great food by the pool, but be sure not to order too late otherwise you have to eat lunch in the indoor upstairs section. The sea here is magnificent and the pool delightful.

The good: Nice pool area, large and nice rooms, close to surf spot, large outdoor area, in general friendly staff. One of the better hotels in Mirissa. The bad: Poor breakfast and dinner buffets, not all staff were very friendly, the people in the reception are sometimes arrogant and unfriendly, and in the restaurant service varied from extremely attentive and...

Hotel was tidy and good location for whale and dolphin watching. Quite standard compared to others I had stayed in during my tour. Not much atmosphere. OK if you want to just relax. Food was good but service slow. Overpriced. Only real good factor is the beach in front and whale and dolphin trips are nearby which I really enjoyed...

Great value for money. Rooms overlooking pool are a little tired but the view makes up for it. Half board is a great deal as food is fabulous. Pool and garden area great place to relax but service is a little slow around the pool.

Many many good things to say about the hotel, location to beach and the big plus of seeing Turtles coming out of their nest. Really awesome. Staff on the whole good, large rooms could be a bit cleaner but nothing serious. Restriction is the half board we ate out each night apart from first night. Food is bland and gives...

Nice property exactly by Mirissa beach. Chalets need a little bit of renovation. Be careful of mosquitoes especially if you book the ground rooms.Staff are only prepared to service depend on how much tip you give. Staff require lots of training on customer service. We liked the new year's eve celebrations and in general Mrissa has a great beach with...
