Group of 11 of us stayed one night in the Villa in August 2019. It is a lovely quiet place to stay with friends and/or family. All newly decorated rooms are very large, clean with very comfy beds, and bathrooms are clean and tidy. All rooms have dressing tables which I did not see in other villas I stayed in the past. The pool is really a bonus - it's very clean with beautiful garden. It is certainly a place to stay if you need a relaxing holiday. I am very reluctant to give 3* rating for the Villa because of the power supply issue we had on the day. Power cuts are common in SL. Unfortunately, the supply was not restored properly on the day we stayed. As a result, all facilities sourced by electricity were affected all night and in the next morning. The owner did not have an adequate back-up generator to supply electricity to the villa. Therefore, I have no option other than giving a 3* rating just to give credit to the owner. They tried all they could to fix the issue, but it was unsuccessful. The owner, truly a nice, polite, honest and a decent man, came to see us in the morning f2f. He apologised for the inconvenience caused and resolved the issue to our complete satisfaction. I will not hesitate to stay the villa again, providing they have a back-up source to supply electricity when required. Hope they sort this out soon.…
We really had fun in Lavendra Villa, highly recommended. They can offer all you need. The owner is very hospitable as the guys over there are very helpful. Ambiance of the villa inside the jungle is wonderful, in the same time 4 mins away from Mirrisa beach or 5 mins away from the surfing beach. For sure will recommend it to my friends once they visit Sri Lanka.
Definetly recommending this place! Me and my two friends stayed in Lavendra Villa for 6 nights and we were extremely pleased with the place. Since our arrival we felt warmly welcomed there. The Villa and the rooms were clean and the pool side is really beautiful and peaceful. Location is a bit far from Mirissa beach but it’s easy to get a tuk tuk. Staff is also amazing there: very helpful and friendly. Thank you.
We had been travelling through Sri Lanka for the 10 days and needed a few days chillin at Mirissa/ beach. The Lavendra ticked the boxes for us, as it was just far enough out of Mirissa to be peaceful but 200 rupees would get you a tuk tuk to the resort. The Lavendra wasn’t complete but acceptable. It just needed the little things finishing off, as we stayed in newly built apartments. The staff were all great and really helpful, pool was great and breakfast was ok. We booked 3 nights initially, and ended up staying 4 nights cos it was cool hanging round Mirissa. We hired a scooter from the Lavendra and loved the freedom to explore the area.
I have visited Marissa on December with my family and stayed at lavender villa. It's really good place for family, I was with my two children and they loved to pool it's very clean, also the place is very relaxing and no disturbance, and it's nature loving place. Highly recommended this for as relaxing place. Gishani
