OK, first off, do NOT miss the beach party on Weds night. It’s a full-on festival and a total blast.

This hotel only has had the problem a couple times. It seem protected and at the right point on the island. There was normal seaweed on the beach due to a storm while we stay here in September and the hotel staff cleared this each day until all was removed. Other parts of the island do suffer from sargassum seaweed and you can smell it as you drive from the airport. Smells like rotten eggs.
