The 'barn' has been styled in a modern and practical style and includes all those essentials that you might need on arrival. We navigated our way across the fields using OS maps and found most but not all signs in place and proper walking boots were essential. We also used the local bus service to avoid retracing our steps on... More

We stayed at Owl Barn just over a week ago and were more than delighted with our stay. The property itself was lovely, welcoming with a great log burner and all of the facilities that you could need. Travelling with a dog, the boot room was also a welcome addition for a wet puppy after long walks nearby. Being located... More

We returned to Owl barn for our third holiday in North Cornwall having last visited in 2012. Owl Barn was just how we remembered it. It is still a wonderful place to be, everything you could wish for and the views, amazing... Trevose Head to Tintagel Castle and the sun sets directly in from of you over the sea. We... More

My husband and I spent a week in the Owl Barn with our dog. The barn is lovely with beautiful views and a walled garden which gave us privacy from the main house and other barns. It was clean and modern with everything you would need for a weeks stay. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding... More

I am afraid there is some confusion here. We sold our two larger barns in 2012 and since then have only let Owl Barn which sleeps two people so this review cannot apply to us. Neither of the new owners live on site so they are never here to greet guests and we now have nothing to do with these... More

On our first evening at Owl Barn the local farmers began spreading slurry on the fields that surround the property ,this continued for the next three days. Not only was the smell appalling but the property became surrounded with flies. We were unable to walk the dog due to the filthy covering over the fields. By our fourth day the smell... More

We were very sad that due to very unusual circumstances beyond our control you decided to cut your holiday short. We were also disappointed that you did not take up our goodwill offer of a free week next year. More

Beautiful renovated barn with views to die for from the patio. Very private & peaceful. We loved the open plan layout of the loung/kitchen & diner. Large walk- in shower is fab and to top it off, the comfiest bed in the world! If you can drag yourself away from it, then visit Trebarwith Strand -lovely unspoilt beach with caves... More

This is a really great place to take a week out and just relax. The property has been renovated to a high standard and has all the facilities you will need. Fantastic location with the views of the cornish coast. Some restaurants at Trebarwith strand are reachably by foot in 20 minutes, if you don't mind the steep climb. A lot of restaurants available in Port Isaac or Tintagel, 15-20 minutes by car. Elizabeth and Ricardo are very friendly hosts with a good sense of humour. They also feel responsible to... More
