Traveling to Guedeloupe for 3 weeks, Hotel Le M in Marie-Galante is an excellent getaway for visiting this little island. Awsome rooms with a killer view, private parking for your car and a very good beakfast. Also the owner is very helpful in providing tips/pointers on where to go.
Very nice charming hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. The breakfast is amazing! The location is great just between Grand-Bourg and Capesterre and the view is amazing. I highly recommend to enjoy a nice stay in Marie-Galante.
This is a small, charming boutique hotel with a lovely view of Marie Galente from the terrace. Lucas and Lucille are very helpful and friendly. The highlight of staying at Hotel M are the breakfasts. They are imaginative, delicious and perfectly set out on a buffet table covered with triangular wicker baskets. This is a perfect start to enjoying a gorgeous Caribbean island.
This is an individual hotel with very welcoming hosts Lucas and Lucille. It was a good base for a relaxing time and touring around Marie Galante. There are about 7? rooms. Our room was on the first floor and had a large terrace (upper rooms have a balcony) but all rooms look out to sea. Our room was spacious and had a coffee table and two seater sofa as well as a desk and chair. There is A/C , kettle, fridge and TV. The buffet breakfast is served on the terrace and the choice of food is amazing. fresh and homemade food whilst we were there included: fruit, yogurt, panacotta, bread, crepes, croissants sweet and savoury, french toast - two varieties, bruschetta, fresh juice, jams, tea and coffee. Lucas was able to suggest where to eat either for lunch or dinner and can make reservations, but we could only manage dinner after such a wonderful breakfast.…
Lovely. Everything written is true. The good is is good. The water pressure sucks. The hosts are great as is the breakfast. A/c and wireless was great. Bed comfy, room clean. Very quiet. Need I say more?
Very nice hotel, Lucas and Lucille were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms and lobby are beautiful and you can feel that they have put a lot of nice details in this hotel. The breakfast is great and we really loved our stay here
Le M Hotel is heavy on charm without pretense. We were graciously greeted by Leatitia, who speaks English and is very helpful with any communication prior to your arrival. The two story hotel is just up a small hill that overlooks the ocean and is surrounded by tall palms. The hotel is gorgeously decorated and the rooms are fresh and clean with updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. Aperitifs are served in the evening on the large outdoor area; it’s a great way to enjoy the sunset and relax before heading off to dinner. You should absolutely indulge in the breakfast at Le M. They serve an impressive array of homemade gourmet food, almost tapas style, so you can try everything. Trust me, you will want to try it all! Visiting one or two distilleries and the gorgeous beaches is a fun and relaxing way to spend the day. The entire island takes only an hour to travel around and driving is very easy. Three nights on Marie-Galante is a decent amount of time to visit the island, however, I can easily imagine spending longer and really melting into the relaxed vibe of this true get away.…
We began our 10 day stay on Guadeloupe here at Le M Hotel and couldn't have been happier. Making reservations was easy. Laetitia speaks English and was very responsive via email. She arranged a rental car for us to pick up at Grand Bourg on our arrival as well. The hotel is very attractive and well situated. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view of the sea. Both the decor and the physical comfort of the room were perfect and we were extremely satisfied with the accommodations. Breakfast is additional but worth the cost. Everything is homemade. There are the usual assortment of croissants and other sweet pastries. Abundant fruit platters and homemade yogurt as well as fresh juices, coffee, tea and savories as well. In addition there were eggs, sausage, tiramisu and creme brûlée. Truly a feast. Laetitia and Didier are fine hosts and recommended good restaurants for us to try during our stay. Marie Galante is a very picturesque island and easy to navigate. The beaches are superb. There is virtually no traffic on the island which makes it a perfect place to vacation and unwind. We highly recommend a visit, and of course a stay at Le M Hotel while there. We know we will be back!…
I last reviewed the M Hotel two years ago. My wife and I stayed there again in February 2017 with trepidation, having had such a good time on our last visit. No worries, it remains a gem. Most, or all, of the ensuite bathrooms have been renovated and they are lovely. Similarly the terrace has been renewed, new electrics, furniture painted and so on.Five or six tapas dishes are available between 6 and 8 pm, for residents and visitors at the bar on the terrace. This works well. We had carpaccio of tuna, rilettes, quiche, delicious. Didier continues to provide a superb breakfast - others have described the variety of tempting fresh fruit, pastries and cooked dishes. Well done Le Hotel M, our number one place to stay in the Caribbean.
Being one of the oldest hotels on Marie Galante, this place was very cozy, warm and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and the owner Laetitia was very helpful, and it was nice that she spoke English, for us non-speaking French tourists. She also recommended a nice bar to watch the beautiful sunset, Sunset Beach, which was again, another wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again if we ever get a change to return to Marie Galante :)
