We (3 people, 2x adults + 1x 6 year old) had log cabin for 4 nights and we found it great. Every cabin has a sauna and a fireplace, plus a kitchenette with all that is needed to cook a simple meal (although we loved the bistro, so we dined there every night). The pool is not massive but more than enough to spend a few relaxing hour (just bear in ind that if you are in a log cabin you will need to pay extra to access to it) and the breakfast was excellent, both in terms of quality and selection. The establishment's communal areas are slightly old-fashioned, but I cannot comment on the hotel rooms and the log cabin are so charming and cosy that it was not really a problem for us, especially considering the good value for money. Recommended especially for family holidays.

I really like their authentic Finnish cottage. The hotel and cottages located next to the lake and close to the ski resort. As the lake is one of the best spots to view aurora, it is recommended for aurora travellers. The sauna in the cottage is perfect after a whole day's hiking. Only one bad thing with the cottage is that the facilities are quite old. The ventilator in the bathroom does not seem to work. The breakfast is surprisingly good, even better than all the luxury hotels I have stayed in Finland. The receptionist can speak good English.

Surroundings are really nice, but the potential is not used with thought, warmth and idea of offering an experience. Very practical and addressing the basic needs - not creating any WOW's even if the surroundings would have the potential. Restaurant's decour old and mixed. Nothing wrong, but nothing really good either.

We stayed in a cottage that was much smaller than in the selling oicture. 4 people can manage to stay in the summer time, but in winter all stuff won’t fit inside the room. In the main hotel there is a small spa, with one swimming pool and one jaguzzi. One time visit is enough.
