I went to Italy Country Stay in Via Piana three years ago and liked it so much I returned this past summer when I was doing some traveling around Italy. Via Piana is easily accessible from Rome by way of a scenic bus ride that takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Sora, Anna, the sweet inn keeper, always... More

I found this to be a very comfortable and homely guesthouse in a beautiful, unspoiled location. The room was charming and a good size, with stunning views of the mountains and nearby Sora from the lovely garden terrace. Anna is a wonderfully friendly hostess who will go out of her way to help you with practical matters or planning your... More

This was an amazing real Italian experience! If you want to get away from touristy areas this is the place to be. We had a fabulous 3 night stay and wish it could have been longer. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, in Via Piana, just a short distance from the actual farm. Our apartment was all new and... More

Situated in Southern Italy’s idyllic countryside (yet easy to get to from Rome), Via Piana is surrounded by landscape spotted with olive trees and humble offerings of quaint family farms, orchards, small vineyards, and lovely winding roads. It sits on a hill surrounded by tiny towns completely untouched by tourism. In the month that I stayed there I never saw... More

If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, with butler service and catering to your every whim - stay clear! However, if you are looking for a quaint place, full of beauty that is outside of the "hustle bustle" of Italian city life, this is the place for you. Via Piana, a small, but delightful bed-and-breakfast is set into the... More

Visiting Via Piana was an experience of its own. First we just wanted a place to stay while doing canyoning in the nearby Torrente Lacerno (which by the way offers a really cool canyoning experience), but the stay at Via Piana ended up outbeating the canyoning. The place is like a small piece of heaven with its Italian charm, the... More

I stayed at Via Piana in mid April and had a wonderful time. Since there are only a few rooms the guests are given special attention and we could always count on Anna(manager) to assist us. During our stay we visited the local shepherd and saw how ricotta cheese was made, went horseback riding, did lots of hiking, visited an... More
