Well signposted so easy to find

Splendid welcome on arrival in this lovely purpose built b& b house in a quiet location outside Wexford. Chilled water from the properties own well & a couple of dinky homemade muffins on the room tray A lovely tree lined driveway was a delight to look out at over breakfast. Breakfast was very good. We were spoiled - often they only advertise a continental breakfast but if it's possible you may be lucky to be offered a cooked breakfast as an alternative

There is a nice outdoor area to sit in though we didn't use it. Very covid aware

Lots of helpful travel tips- we changed our plans based on these & were very pleased we did so. The National Heritage Museum is just 5 minutes away & well worth a visit. Because it's so close it's nice to get there early when you have it largely to yourself

A nice fair sized room with a good bed and a good sized bathroom

A lovely first start for tourists off the Rosslare ferry.

Oh, and exceptionally good value. I wouldn't have been surprised if the 2 night rate had been a misprint for a 1 night rate! Highly recommended

I took my family to stay in the beautiful Killurin Lodge hosted by Clare. It's a wonderful location with stunning surroundings. Clare herself is a credit to her work. The room was so comfortable with everything you need for your stay, the breakfast hit the spot just nicely before we toured Wexford County each day and the whole experience was 10/10 from start to finish. I highly recommend this BnB for anyone staying in Wexford or if you just want a quite little getaway. Thank you Clare for hosting us and we'd love to return to visit again.
Regards
The Galligan Family

Clare and Colin run one of the nicest BnBs and to say they look after their guests is simply an understatement. The kindness shown to me during my unplanned stay at Killurin Lodge is a perfect example of the concept of Xenia - the ancient Greek law/custom of offering protection and hospitality to strangers.

Situated in the lovely wooded surrounds of Killurin which is 15 minutes tops from Wexford town, the wild fowl reserve and also the National Heritage Park. Driving up to the house it's clear that this BnB isn't just a safe reprieve for people. Wild rabbits roam the colorful well kept garden and birds flock to the feeders.

My room was very comfortable and both that & the en-suite were impeccably clean. I had to depart quite early but hosts had breakfast ready for me at 07:30. It was fantastic and there were good options. I went for scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Really set me up for a day on the Saltee islands photographing the sea birds. Thank you again to you both for everything. Look forward to my next stay with you in Killurin.

We stayed a night in the Lodge during our short trip to Wexford.
Such a lovely place and wonderful hosts.
Clare was so welcoming and very kind.
The room we got was ideal for what we needed. Lovely and clean and the beds were really comfortable.
Clare and Colin are doing their best to keep their place safe during Covid times! We definitely felt safe during our short stay.
Very nice breakfast too, plenty choice and enough to fill you up ☺️
Would definitely recommend a stay in the Lodge!

On arriving we were so happy with the approach to the b&b was and inside was just as good. Lovely homely place to stay. Met by the owner on arrival who was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and had tea and coffee facilities, all that you needed. Situated not far from the property was a pub that sold food.

Killurin Lodge is a real gem!
Warm, welcoming and slightly quirky - in a good way.
Claire is an amazing hostess who went several extra miles for us over the course of our stay.
We’ll be back!
It would be home from home if I had a magnificent garden and a spotless house!
Highly recommend

Thank you so much Eileen, it was a pure pleasure having you stay for the weekend. It was a joy to watch friends get together from so many different counties and enjoy sitting in the garden, eating together and having a well-deserved catch up after so long being denied these simple pleasures. We look forward to welcoming you back at any time.
