We opted for the self-catering option to save money and get up late, and it worked out well. The cattle, sheep and deer were delightful neighbors, and the host was generous with scones and samples of beer brewed in his nearby brewery. We struggled with the unfamiliar stove the showers were hot, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything...

At first, I wasn't too sure about that place. I thought that it was far from any attractions or restaurants but once inside I fell like home. We were very well welcomed by Madeline, a young French lady who was there to improve her English. Then we met the owner, Tom, who is a hard worker and a very busy...

Beautiful old country house set within large and well maintained grounds, perfect for a family getaway. We had a family room (two doubles) plus en-suite and the room was perfectly clean and decorated in keeping with the country feel of the house. Owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful. On arrival we were treated to afternoon tea and biscuits...

They do give tea and coffee on arrival, and if you request it, but you can only do that once in all honesty !! Young staff really friendly and helpful and extremely pleasant. Weirdly they had no full Irish breakfast on the menu, but cooked a superb...

This is a perfect place to unwind, we had a beautiful room (6) and the family are so welcoming. Breakfast in the morning they bend over backwards providing what you want and the food is lovely. We will definately be staying again and would recommend this lovely place to anyone just minutes walk away from the Estuary.

We really enjoyed our visit and received a friendly, warm welcome. Spacious room and ensuite with comfortable bed. We would have liked to have had a bigger TV screen. Both breakfast and service very good. The setting and views are wonderful. A visit is recommended.

The host and hostess go out of their way to ensure that the guests are aware of the various attractions and landmarks in the area to get full enjoyment from the break. We arrived after a fairly long drive and were shown to our lovely room by one of the sons. Mum and Dad had apparently gone on a well earned holiday leaving the three boys in charge. Brave? Visions of having to use ear plugs to drown out the noise of parties flashed before our eyes. However, we were very pleasantly...
