Old hotel with neat rooms. In the hotel you can eat delicious food and drink excellent Irish coffee. Every morning a buffet table is set up with the option of ordering a very rich breakfast.Warm atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly.
This is a very tidy and ornate boutique hotel. Breakfast is great. The rooms are small and tidy. Staff very friendly. There's no hotel car park, but free on street parking is available, or a pay car park across the road. Only small niggle is that the telly in room 301 doesn't work. Channels don't kick in. Having said that, I'd come back here in a heartbeat
Was awake until 3am listening to very loud music, so frustrating, breakfast was good, but definitely not worth 150e for a very bad quality overnight stay, no elevator or private car park, wont be returning
A last minute decision on a May Bank holiday Sunday lead us to Carrick on Suir and the Carrig Hotel. Great value, excellent service, friendly staff, lovely food, centrally located, fantastic entertainment.
Just back from great stay at Carraig Hotel. Spotless comfy room, excellent breakfast and bar food. Wonderful friendly staff. Can't do enough to make us feel welcome. Second stay here. Will definitely be back. Amazing location. Beautiful part of country. So much great scenery. Historic town with lots of plaques highlighting interesting facts.
Truly appreciative of a most enjoyable stay, excellent food both dinner and breakfast and really great and accommodating staff. Room comfortable, everything clean and we could not fault anything about our visit. Many thanks indeed for your outstanding hospitality.
Went out for dinner and the service was terrible we ordered and didn’t get the food for one hour later but we had to ask someone to see where our food was. And we were not asking if we wanted a dessert. Needles to say we will not be back 😡. We were regular in the hotel for dinner.
Clean & well run hotel. Lovely staff. Great food. We had a great waiter called Chris who couldn't do enough for us. There were no pastries both mornings but otherwise a delicious breakfast. Room comfortable.
Any time I eat at the Carraig I am never disappointed. The food is always beautiful and there is a lot of choice on the menu. The food portions are always generous and there is a nice choice of drink offerings too. Since re-opening their Covid measures are of a high standard which made me feel more at ease. If you are visiting Carrick-on-Suir you would be foolish not to try the fab food on offer here
I'm currently staying here on business and I must say I have been overwhelmed with the level of customer care and attention to detail. Within five minutes of my arrival Pat the manager had already organised a week long gym pass at the Sean Kelly Leisure Centre. Food was exceptional and and what I would call most generous quantities. I highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure.
