We stayed in quite a few places since we landed in Dublin and spent a week going clockwise around the island. This was our favorite. The rooms were well kept. The owner was gracious. Possibly the best shower we experienced too :D It had closeable skylights for darkness or to allow some star gazing. Short walk to the ocean to watch the sunset. Would stay again... if you can convince me to go back to Ireland and drive all those roundabouts 😅

We could not have had a better beginning to our exploration of Sligo and Donegal. Karen was a competent and friendly host, willing to help in any way. Her breakfasts are wonderful, with several combinations to choose from. We needed no lunch on these days! We stayed two nights, which gave us a chance to explore the surrounding area. The setting is nothing short of spectacular, on the Atlantic. We did not have any difficulty in finding the B&B along smaller roads, because it was well signposted at every point where we might have been unsure. When you reach the Atlantic, turn left! The room and the bed were completely comfortable--our backs were happy! The house is spotless, and it would be hard to think of something that was not provided.

This is a beautifully kept property from the gardens to the bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms to the quaint breakfast room. It is set in a remote location right beside the ocean with the most magnificent sunsets but it is not more than a 15 min drive to most of the local attractions. Karen the owner is the perfect host while friendly and engaging she is a well of knowledge of the area. I visited with my two children (one teen and one 11yr old) and shared a family room and it was perfect. There is netflix on the TV but tbh we were shattered most nights after our days of exploring and we slept like logs in the very comfy beds after gorgeous hot showers.
We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

Located in a beautiful part of the country, Ocean Heights is in a lovely and quiet location, with fabulous views going for a walk along the cliffs nearby. Our room was absolutely perfect, beautifully presented and the bathroom was excellent and everything well maintained and perfectly clean. Karen was so welcoming, and gave us recommendation for dinner which was great. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and a help yourself to cereals, fruit, yoghurt. A perfectly hosted b&b for our 1 night stay.

Sligo really was breathtaking and nestled just by the wild Atlantic way is this charming bnb. The owner karen is just so thoughtful and kind, down to every last detail and not to mention how extensively clean she keeps every inch of the house! The beds were so comfortable and the views, wow!!! beautiful landscapes to wake up to. The breakfast was freshly cooked each morning for us with a wide range of choices, best breakfast I’ve had ever. We absolutely loved staying here and can’t wait to get back, no where else I’d rather stay. I could say so much more positive things, so let’s just say I have no negatives instead! Thank you for your hospitality, ocean heights family ! ❤️

You cannot fault this beautiful B&B it is just immaculate. The views from our bedroom and the dining room overlooking the Atlantic ocean are breathtaking. Our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed . There were lots of little extras in the bathroom and on the tea trolley. Our host Karen served a freshly cooked breakfast each morning with a smile .There was an extensive menu to choose from. Out side there Is a lovely patio and the gardens are beautifully maintained. I cannot recommend this little piece of heaven enough . Thank you we will be back! Carol and Gary.

Best made-to-order breakfast of our travels in Ireland. Order the pancakes! The location was remote, which would have been lovely except that we hit a bit of windy cold weather and couldn't enjoy the coastline. Karen was an accommodating host.

Just the kind of place to get away from the crowd. It is just a 5 bedroom B&B but homely and cozy, not to mention very clean. We had the place all to ourselves just when the Covid 19 lockdown was lifted. Karen, who runs the place served us a hearty breakfast. She is very accommodating. If you are lucky, you just might be able to get some lobsters, crabs or fish but at an additional cost.

From the view to the cleanliness, this was an outstanding B&B. We were greeted cordially, our room was pretty, clean and comfortable, with ample room for our bags and baggage. We were delighted with all the amenities, several that we didn't usually find in European accommodations: tissues, face clothes, plenty of hot water in the shower (which was roomy), lots of shelf space and hooks for toiletries and clothes, good internet, and a great breakfast served in a bright and cheery room. The host was kind enough to do a load of laundry for us (we were grateful!) and the drive to find dinner was only about 10 minutes and the recommendation was great. We enjoyed an amazing walk along the shore and cliff walk, encouraged by our host.

The place is located right on the coast with gorgeous view. So, it is great for exploring surroundings. Google maps tag was put correctly. So, it was pretty easy to find the place even in the evening. The host was very flexible about checking-in time, what was very handy for us. She takes great care of everything (including the breakfast) and keeps the place sparkling clean. The room had comfortable beds. So, it is an excellent place to recharge!
