We stayed here for one night recently. The room was nice, bed was comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had some drinks in the lobby that evening which has a lovely relaxing vibe and the bar management and staff were extremely helpful in arranging our seating for us and recommending drinks. Only slight negative, our room was probably one of the furthest away, bit of a trek especially with heels on and there was only one mini shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom for 2 people which was not sufficient. I would return though as the hotel is very reasonably priced.

Afternoon tea was absolutely beautiful. Well presented, fresh, and very tasty. Cocktails and coffee were also gorgeous. We were seated in the foyer, which was very comfortable. The staff were polite, and friendly, however one girl in particular, Aoife, was genuinely lovely, and so attentive. I hope she gets full recognition for that, as that was the most important thing for us, how we were treated. We will definitely return to the Hamlet Court Hotel next time for an overnight stay.

Decided to stop off here on way home from Mullingar. Feeling hungry so opted for Roast of the day which was turkey and ham- what a disappointment! I was given what I can only describe as half a slice of turkey, a sliver of ham and bulked up with the customary stuffing which in fairness was tasty. This was the meanest serving of meat I have ever seen. I did mention this to the waiter who said he would pass it on to chef. I had dessert afterwards which in fairness I wasn't charged for. But I won't be in any hurry to return here...
