1. On arrival had to wait 30mins to enter after 5pm. 2. DIRTY microwave & untouched DIRTY fridge. I had to begin cleaning in my costly holiday! break!! Was told the snow brought staffing issues?? 3. COLD water at raging rappeds as there was a power cut yesterday. How unfortunate for our second visit to lodge 654 on 1st March.

Just come back from our stay in Center Parcs. The cleanliness of our cabin Birch 229 was quite shocking especially the kitchen! Never mind that bedroom where we have to move bed to fit cot the carpet never see the hoover under the beds but the dishwasher in kitchen was in state for to call Health and Safety Department! We had to run few times the cycle before use but still it wasn't as I would expected! Thumb down 👇 for cleanliness for the money we paid! Wouldn't be in rush to go back sadly :-((

8 of us shared a 4 bed lodge - it was roomy and well equipped. It was very private and our neighbours (with a few very small children) were not to be heard Frying pan / wok are terrible everything sticks to them so it’s a pain in the ass. Should be non-stick Bed linen annoyed some of our group as it’s very starched / crinkly / noisy ! It was spotless tho. Very clean everywhere on the parc. Busy but not uncomfortable at all. Food was OK , we cooked in mostly as too expensive to eat out with Lots to do on site but the activities are pricy. Zip lining was too expensive but we would have loved to do it. Pool complex is wonderful. Bring ur own pool towels as it’s €2.50 per towel to hire them . Staff were good , no complaints at all All in all a great facility

We went as a family of 2 teenage boys and stayed about 10 mins walk away from the centre. We brought bikes but actually enjoyed the walk there and back. Got to see lots of wildlife, a deer visited every morning outside our lodge, and the red squirrels were very active. There are seed feeders in the tree to encourage them to become visible. The lodges were comfortable and spacious. You get 2 tea bags and 2 coffee's sachets, and enough to wash up a few meals. Tea towel and sponge supplied. Gorgeous towels are also supplied but not for use in the swimming pool. I like the cutout under the bed for your suitcases. The bathrooms were high standard. The only thing we gad a problem with was the tv remote controls, the batteries were low, but that's a small thing. Didn't affect our stay. We brought the basic food essentials but if you run out, there is a well stocked shop on site. We had a sauna which we used and it was an experience for the boys. Actually, we didn't really have time to use it but did so, because we had it. I would suggest keeping your activities to a minimum because of the swimming pool. We did the aerial adventure, which was brilliant fun. Really good obstacles, lots of zipping, and then the final zip across the lake. Really good fun. The instructors were at each point in case of help. Also thought the condition of the aerial adventure was top notch. If you are in away wary of heights, I wouldn't suggest it. Have heard a few having a moment of freezing. We also did the laser pigeon shooting. That was such fun. Lots of different games and Ty, who was super fun and made the experience 100% better, didn't single anyone out for not doing well. The variety of games gives you the chance to not focus on not having a good aim. As well as flying targets, there are some on the ground, so you've hit something ! The swimming pool is the highlight. It's busy but it moves around. The changing rooms are very well organised. Your wrist bracelet that you use for your lodge, works on the lockers. They are a box square so nothing too bulky unless you've a few wrist bands. I would suggest bringing a small rain coat, pocket size. We walked "home" to your lodge, totally unprepared after the pool. And would definitely bring a rain coat next time. There is a wave machine every 15 mins in the main pool which is good fun. The lazy river is great. Slides were great fun too, you can go in one slide on your own, another one has 2 person and other one is a 4 person inflatable. I'm sure you don't need 4, we didn't do it. The warm water outside is great, especially when it was misty rain. The rapids are the highlight, we had such fun... There is a coffee shop with drinks and food, inside the swimming area, it just uses card. So, back to your locker and get your wallet. The ease of moving around is good. It had pizza and hot dogs, ice creams, coffee's and beer. The usual towel draped chairs was happening. So we had no where to sit. All the spots where there was chairs were covered, so we were total novices in that regard. Would be nice to have a bench to sit on while the children are off playing. We lasted an hour in the pool and then would get dressed and leave the boys off but there was no where to sit or go to wait. Small gripe The sports bar was good for drinks and food. Lots of tvs and lots of activities there, we played badminton and table tennis. Climbing walls looked great and good variety of degrees. We went to the Indian, Cara Kitchen & Hucks American. The Italian was booked out. I had booked in advance with the fear of getting no where, and it's correct to do that. The food was gorgeous and the staff were lovely but it certainly was pricey. I would suggest for a few days away, maybe do one or two but that's it. Hucks is very family friendly with movies showing on tvs and seemed busier with lots of people but still delicious food. One member of staff was saying that the service charged is added and distributed amongst all staff in Centreparcs. I get the idea of it because we didn't tip the aerial adventure instructors and why should they miss out, so in the future I'd bring some cash for staff tipping. Even if you add money, it gets centrally distributed. The light village was gorgeous to walk around and some kiddie experiences along the way. It was misty rain and still the staff were out with 100% enthusiasm. I would go back. I'd like to stay somewhere with a walk because it's nice to wander around. I think the two activities were enough for the 4 nights we were there, otherwise you're running around after yourself. I would do one restaurant and cook at home. Forgot to mention the check in. One car checked in around 4 which was super busy but you're allowed bring in your car and then move it to the car park. I checked in later and could keep the car outside the lodge but it needed to be moved before 9am. Check out, there was a flurry of activity and it seems everyone gets their cars and parks outside their lodges until they have to go. We didn't do this and just double parked to load up and leave. Enjoyed our stayed. Felt rested and had enough activities to feel like we were away.

Room Tip: Bring small rain coats to the pool so you're not exposed being wet walking back to your lodge.

We had a great time in centre parcs and would come back. This was our first time here. Our lodge was clean. A few marks on my duvet cover which really shouldn't be there just looks unclean. Also I think a few basics like milk bread + butter would be a nice touch for the price of the stay. You do get tea coffee but that's it! It's hard to get to a shop before you head off to get everything & the grocery pack wouldn't suit everyone if you have fussy small people with you like us! We were short a few bowls in the press but everything else well stocked. We had a baby with us and the cot + highchair all very good and sturdy. We booked the executive lodge and you get the hydro bath. I tried this out. It's noisy but fun. Restaurants are on the expensive side but we enjoyed what we got in them. Staff all very nice and friendly. The pool very good and our son said it was his favourite thing and he did lots of activities. Very quite in our lodge. All and all very happy our stay and hope to come back in the future. If the small things are noted be a five star experience for me 😄

We had a great time, our 3rd time to come back as a family with friends. Love the location, pool, slides, rapids couldn't fault it. We did laser combat, had a great time, Mary the leader was brilliant and made it great fun for everyone! Brilliant spot, great activities but a few things that would make me think before rebooking again.... Prices have gone up!!!! Making it such an expensive break...and it starts the minute you go in.... Bicycle hire for a 16 year old for the weekend is €47, cappuccino €4.50, and kids hot chocolate €4.25 in the cafe, to rent a soccer pitch is €44 for an hour! Indian restaurant was lovely but most maons at least €22 and that didn't include rice for €5. Feels like your being fleeced wherever you go. Definitely more expensive since our visit last year. There should be a soccer pitch free for any kids that want to play... its on most European campsites as a basic. Lodges were clean in the main, but small attention to detail like dusty skirting boards in bathrooms and sitting room, for price should not be there. Staff were lovely everywhere we went, we'll done to them!

Excellent experience and holiday. Lodges were gorgeous and all the activities superb. Food in the sports bar was great but not so much in Cara’s which was very expensive for what we got. Didn’t hamper our stay though and we all enjoyed it. We had 3 generations in the party and there was something for everyone to do.

Relaxing, exciting and well cared for would be the words we would use for our stay here! From arrival to the last evening we have had a ball. Accomodation is so well appointed. We are in Maple and really like the distance from the centre (10 minutes walk only) Its really relaxing and quiet here. We ate in Sports Bar, Hucks, and got the restaurant runner which is BRILLIANT where you have varied tastes. Delivery to the lodge was such a treat. The pool, archery (thank you Al) the fairires (Thank you Harmony), ariel adventure, bowling (Thank you Aaron), mini golf were al brilliant. Customer services (Very and Jordan) helped us with various bits and bobs for which we were really grateful. We will be back and while I have named a few people - everyone we met was really lovely and couldnt help more. Security were so helpful too when I locked myself out!!! Felt safe, relaxed and I feel that it is well worth the money. Feb is such a lovely time to be here.
