Nice, worth a visit. Staff are really lovely. We chose to eat off the early bird menu as I didn't really find anything I liked on the main menu. Had the mussels and clams to start with (wish they offered it as a main portion as I would of loved this as a main) Had the Sea Food Risotto as...

Had an amazing dinner in the Courthouse at the weekend. Restaurant was very busy as it was Father's Day the next day but all dishes were freshly cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. My daughter and I chose from the a la carte menu and my husband the Early Bird. Although they were busy service was excellent and our meal...

Kinlough is a lovely, small, rustic village in Leitrim. It is the last place you would expect to find a restaurant of this quality. I have worked in fine dining restaurants in New York- and I would put this restaurant above them. Service was professional, friendly and low key. Each course was excellent, and I wanted to order everything on...

The staff here are very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant itself is not great - a bit like a big square box lacking in character. The important thing really is the food and this was also a bit lacking. The goats cheese tartlet was not great and I really like goats cheese. My duck was flavoursome but very small and...

The Courthouse Restaurant in Kinlough has superb food, as good or better than anything we have eaten anywhere. It had the best of local fresh produce, imaginatively cooked, and beautifully served. The service was completely charming. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and to help us with information on the area. A wonderful...

My husband and I along with two friends visited the Courthouse restaurant on Wednesday evening and had the most beautiful meal during our Easter break in Donegal. We were so impressed, we rebooked for Friday evening. Well we thought Wednesday was good but Friday exceeded our expectations! The food was phenomenal. Staff very attentive and good craic. Ambiance excellent. We...

Brenda our waitress was superb and gave us such wonderful recommendations for our roadtrip, which we followed and we were so impressed! Brenda, we thoroughly enjoyed all the spots you recommended....

Had a lovely meal in this restaurant with my friend. I had the seafood pasta and it was fabulous. Lovely service and enjoyed the extra touches. The dessert was also delicious . It was a selection of chocolate desserts. The panna cotta was divine.

Fourth time to dine here and no sign of the standards faltering - truly one of the region's hidden gems. How the chef and proprietor Piero manages to turn out such a wonderful choice of offerings almost singlehandedly still remains a mystery but who cares when the most difficult job of the evening is to decide on what to pick...
