I stayed here for 2 days on a walking tour and was mesmerized by the beauty here and the generousness of Karen, the owner. These cute cottages right by the beautiful canal, are in good shape and sticked with every kitchen gadget you could imagine as well as a washer/dryer for the whole place( something you want in Ireland if you’re walking and get wet feet or clothes from occasional rain). Karen was available and ready with information, ideas or just to talk. I would Totally come back here just to wander along the beautiful canals or bike. I didn’t even see any of the official sites or shops so theres more to do next time. Only an hour drive from dublin, It might be a great first or last stop on your way back to the airport
The cottages were clean and had a welcome package waiting for us as we entered. Karen was always available for answering our questions. Also close to Robertstown where it has a pub, newsagents and many more. Also a short drive away from the bigger towns of Naas,Sallins,Maynooth,Clane and Newbridge. Will be back again soon
Lovely clean and tidy accommodation. Karen has gone the extra mile with providing a welcome pack of tea coffee scones butter and jam, little soaps and shower gel give the finishing touches. Patio table and chairs are outside your accomodation on a hard stand for alfresco dining or a relaxing with a glass of wine over looking the canal.
We are just home having stayed 5 nights in Robertstown Holiday villages. While there isnt a whole lot in Robertstown itself it is so nice and peaceful and safe for the kids. It was an ideal base for us as we spent 2 days of our trip in Dublin (only 45 mins drive) spent another day touring Kildare, Lullymore Heritage Park, National Stud & Japanese Gardens all only a short drive away. On the final day, we went to Rathbeggan Lakes on Meath again only 40 mins drive away. Then did the barge trip from Sallins which was fab. Its so close to so many different activities in different counties. We couldnt believe we fit so much into our few days. Karen was very helpful throughout from first contacting her re availability and mobile numbers are left for you to contact 24/7 if there are any issues. Staff are always on hand to deal with anything. A lovely welcome pack left in our cottage, lots of leaflets for things to do, milk in d fridge, tea, coffee, fresh scones, butter and local jams - its the small things after a long journey. Keep up the good work. We will be back and wouldnt hesitate to book these cottages the next time. …
The family booked a few houses for the weekend. Right on the canal so we took out a 4 man dingy which was great fun. The houses were well equipped and comfortable with everything we needed. They are just on the edge of a tiny, quaint village with a newsagents, cafe and pub. Just a few minutes drive from bigger towns of Sallins, Naas and Clane. Would highly recommend Robertstown Holiday Village for a relaxing holiday and it’s not too far from Dublin and motorway links so it is quick to get there.
Our stay was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Robertstown Holiday Village! Highly recommended! We would definitely stay there again when on holiday. The cottage was lovely and neat and very well equipped.
We have spent 3 months in Robertstown Holiday Village; on our arrival cottage was very clean and recently painted. Staff and specially Karen are very pleasant and very helpful , they dealt with our queries or very minor issue with no time and always there to help. I highly recommend this place for long or short stay
We stayed at Cottage No 4 for four nights. Overall very pleased with our stay. Cottage was freshly cleaned on arrival and everything was to our satisfaction. Two travel cots and high chair provided as requested. Kitchen has everything you need. Local cafe and Chinese have very good food. Good base for exploring Kildare and surrounding Counties. Would highly recommend.
We stayed at the cottages for 5 nights, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The cottage was well equipped and clean with pleasant surroundings. Karen is a friendly and helpful host very accommodating, We will certainly stay at the cottages on our next visit to Ireland. Thanks for all your help Karen. Eddie & Mary Xxx
We have just come back from a lovely long weekend away here. I would be happy to recommend this place for several reasons. Firstly Karen was very welcoming and helpful. The holiday village was easy to find and parking onsite was great. We found our house to be clean and tidy with literally every convenience you would need. Its located in a great location for touring around and there is a few well stocked local shops for essentials during your stay. There is also a good pub and a tasty chinese restaurant thats well priced all a short walk away. So if your looking for a great spot to relax, tour about but have the luxury of your own space and home comforts this is the place for you.
