My husband and 15month old are just home from a lovely relaxing one night stay in the Ballyliffin Lodge. Thank you to the hotel for allowing us to amend our booking, we were unable to go a few weeks ago due to sickness. The hotel is lovely and clean and the view is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our three course dinner, the food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and can see why it was awarded the best in Innishowen. The pool was lovely, probably the best hotel swimming pool we've been to. The changing rooms and entire hotel is immaculate. We highly recommend the hotel to our family and friends and look forward to a return visit in the future.

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay at the hotel. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it. Our first impressions were that the hotel was well maintained and very clean. Our standard room was very comfortable (Room 204) and we had a lovely view of the hills. All the staff were very pleasant and the service was very good. The food was tasty and it was so relaxing to have breakfast in the new conservatory with beautiful views of Pollan Bay. Helen, who served us breakfast twice, deserves a special mention. She had an excellent attitude to her work and went out of her way to ensure we had all we needed. Thank you, Helen! We both enjoyed the spa. The pool was very nice and the sauna, steam room, hot tub and jacuzzi all worked. In other hotels we have stayed in, it is the norm, unfortunately, to have at least one facility not working. My husband and I both enjoy walking and we had two lovely walks within a short drive of the hotel. Glenevin Waterfall is gorgeous and there is a very interesting story about how the tourist track came into being - visit the waterfall and find out! We also completed the Urris Lakes Loop walk which combined beautiful sea views and a visit to two lakes in the heart of the Urris Hills. Finally, the Doagh Famine Village is within a short drive of the hotel also. It is in a beautiful setting on the Isle of Doagh and Pat, our tour guide was excellent! It is about so much more than the famine - the village gives a real insight into Irish life yesteryear and right through The Troubles. It's well worth a visit. All in all, we had a lovely stay that was also very good value. We were very thankful to be blessed with good weather.

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of April. Great stay, room clean a little tired. But large enough for a family of 4 with two little men. Swimming pool nice, pool hat required! Food nice, cocktails nice. We will be back. Second visit in under 6 months.

Stayed here for one night in May ‘23. The hotel is perfectly located and has lovely views of Pollen Bay. We have eaten in Jacks Bar previously and the food is always tasty, large portions and piping hot. Room was a good size, perfectly clean - maybe a little dated but very comfortable and a good night sleep. The spa was lovely -good size pool, sauna, steam room etc. Breakfast was fabulous, buffet style but all fresh and nicely presented. Special shout out to the staff who make this place - very friendly and helpful. Definitely will visit again.

We had a family meal here to celebrate a big birthday for our dad. Our parents don't go out much but our dad said he would like to go to the Lodge for his birthday meal as we'd taken him before Christmas and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Well what a great choice! They were so busy when we arrived but that did not impact on our welcome, service or food. The meal was exquisite and we can't wait to return.
