Went here for our 20th wedding anniversary. Stayed in the Bridal Suite as it was our 20th wedding anniversary. Absolutely gorgeous. Jacuzzi in the room. Fabulous. We had some spa treatments as well. Dinner was amazing and the hotel lovely and the staff so helpful and courteous. Have already booked for another visit later in the year. Highly Recommended.
Everything about this hotel is superb. The staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived at reception to when we checked out, we were made feel welcome in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Anthony was very helpful and provided great advice and information. The food is delicious, hotel is very clean, calm and relaxing atmosphere, gorgeous views and surrounding area to explore. Will definitely be back. Well done everyone 👏👏
This is our second stay here for a wedding. It's a lovely hotel, in an equally lovely area, well deserving of it's 4 stars. Food and service at the wedding was great as we have come to expect from The Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa. Breakfast the next morning with nice with an area to help yourself to the continental fayre, a cooked breakfast area and then you could order variations from the menu. Breakfast was very chilled and the area was nicely spaced out. Absolutely stunning sea views from the hotel. Nice outside seating area. We had a great time in the pool with the kids, the pool was warm and the hot-tub was a real bonus, just ourselves in the pool which was great - the changing rooms were a tad warm, someone said there was something in the heating/cooling system that was waiting to be fixed. We did bring a matter we were not entirely happy with the the attention of the hotel and it was dealt with expeditiously, professionally and to our satisfaction. Well done everyone involved, we look forward to a return visit if we get the chance.…
Visited the Ballyliffin for some food during a recent trip to Donegal and was not disappointed. Although busy, we were offered seats overlooking Pollan Bay (stunning views). Both of us had the roast lunch; I had turkey and ham, my husband had the roast beef. All of it was lovely. Unfortunately no room for desserts, but we will be back 😊
Fair enough, the view is spectacular. The food is good (and the starters in the restaurant are great). The rooms are spotless. The leisure centre is great (pool with kids pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, sauna AND steam room!!!). And (bar one receptionist who really shouldn't be front of house...not Claire, who was lovely) every single member of staff we met was courteous, smily and friendly. But the cherry on top was the spa. Louise just couldn't have made me and my Mum feel any more special. Thank you for a truly lovely experience Louise! We'll see you again sometime soon.
