Attended my sisters wedding here for 3 nights. Great hotel and staff. Very friendly and clean. The wedding planner at the hotel was on the ball and brilliant. Food was great. Only thing I would suggest is little fridges in the rooms. With kids you need somewhere to store snacks, bottles etc. Also my TV in room wasn't working, was told it's because they are updating them. Wasn't an issue for me as we brought a laptop and kids could watch shows on that, but if we hadn't there would have been periods of time where we would have missed having a working TV. Would totally recommend staying here.

1 night stay with 2 of my sisters, room was clean staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast the next morning had plenty of choice my only negative was the scrambled eggs were not pleasant (had no taste was as if made up on water) and basically inedible but that was the only negative. Would recommend for a nice stopover spot.

I cannot empathise how wonderful this hotel is from the staff, food, accommodation. Everything was absolutely perfect. Special thanks to Charmaine on reception, Dessie and Shane in the bar and lastly but not least Michael and Nigel the night porters and Anthony and Stephen the chefs. Went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Could not fault 1 thing. Going back again at end of May as it is now our top favourite hotel

On arrival Sunday 12 th March we were met by a very friendly receptionist , checking in was quick we were in room within a few minutes. Our room was spacious quiet and well equipped. The bed is firm so was to our liking, crisp fresh linen . Bathroom is a good standard soap shower gel was supplied . Had a great night sleep . Breakfast was excellent wide choice of continental and fresh local fare cooked to order . The treat is breakfast is served in a beautifully converted church . I remarked to the receptionist on passing how beautiful the church was and how impressed I was with the presentation of the hotel , she engaged me in conversation and showed me around the newly renovated wedding suite , it is very tastefully decorated, I can see why this is a popular wedding destination. In sunning up this is a great spot to explore Donegal & Derry lots of Walking / hiking trails rugged coastal routes . Shopping in nearby Derry is a shoppers dream , some really nice restaurants to try such as The sooty olive . The icing on the cake in this hotel is the friendly lady on reception a real asset to the hotel , a real people person !! Oh the roaring fire in reception was also a bonus on the wet day !

Really lovely hotel - tastefully decorated, and the room and communal areas were spotlessly clean. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was a self serve for the continental style, and the hot breakfasts were freshly cooked to order. I also had dinner at the hotel and it was also very tasty with good portions. I only had two issues with my stay - my mattress was too firm, and it felt uncomfortable - I prefer a softer mattress. The TV in the room was very small and could do with an upgrade. Apart from that it was a really lovely stay.
