Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The bar serves food all day which is unusual for the area. We had the Quinoa Burger (vegan) and the Nachos. We added chips of course. All were freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The service was excellent as was the value for money. It being family run makes all the difference. Highly recommended.

The staff at Caisleain Oir are absolutely amazing. was just there for two nights and i couldn't get over how helpful the were. The food is out of this world. I will definitely be back for another stay as soon as i can. Stunning location and the craft beers that are brewed on the premises are also fabulous.

Our group of golfers stayed two nights (non-consecutively) in the space of a week. We arrived late on our first check in day and the restaurant and bar were packed, but the staff was quick to help us check in and get us off to our rooms. They kindly let us store our excess baggage in a back room until our return three days later. On our second stay we needed to check out early to catch a plane and they organized a cold breakfast for us at 6:30 am. Irish music in the bar was great. Service throughout was outstanding.

Delicious food, good portion size, and nice friendly service. The prices are very similar to other hotels/restaurants in the area, but good value for money. Nice offer of Errigal craft beer taster - 3 glasses for &6.95!! We had a window seat and watched the tide come in, which was lovely. Restaurant busy, as expected for a Sunday afternoon but plenty of room!

Myself and three of my friends stayed in the Caisleain Oir last Thursday night. The greeting we received on arrival was fantastic. We were made feel at home straight away. We were met with friendly smiles all round. The rooms were large clean and warm. We went to the bar for a drink and again we were met by the most friendly staff we have ever come across. The restaurant was excellent and the meal was very good. The breakfast was great and again the staff could not have been more helpful. Overall a five star experience.

Yet again an absolutely fabulous few days at this hotel. All the staff are amazing, look after your every need. The rooms are big and beds are so comfortable. The food is amazing and such great value. The beds are so comfy you struggle to get up. The views across the bay to the Atlantic make this location idylic. Entertainment is first class and the people are fantastic. The surrounding area has the most fantastic beaches and its 10 minutes from the award winning airport for the views. Annagry is a beautiful village kept to exceptional high standards by the local community.
