We stayed in Caisleáin oir this week, our first staycation since lock down. This is an amazing family run hotel on the wild Atlantic Way with amazing views out across the bay. James, Anita and staff couldn't do enough for you we felt like VIP, s. It is the most spotless hotel I have had the pleasure to stay in. Excellent covid 19 guidelines and felt extremely safe and well looked after. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented and you got a lot of it. If I could give ten stars I would because I feel it deserves it. The caisleáin oir has it all its a holiday makers dream. If you get a chance to stay for a while or just call in for a meal and a drink I would highly recommend you stay here you won't be disappointed. Sooooo much thanks to James and Anita for providing us with a great holiday experience. Linda & Shirley

Visited Caisleain Oir for lunch and as a party of 4 and all agree the food at this hotel was the highlight of our trip - absolutely amazing. We had two fish and chips and the ultimate surf and turf platter with the tomahawk steak!! Will definitely be back again and couldn’t recommend highly enough. Staff were also so pleasant and helpful. Definitely a five start experience

The staff at Caisleain Oir are very pleasant and welcoming. I guess that is the friendliness of Donegal people :) We had come in 2018 just for a dinner when staying in Bun beg and loved the place (and the view!) so we decided to stay the night on this occasion while doing a road trip around lovely Donegal. We were very satisfied with the experience. We stayed in for dinner and the food was absolutely fabulous, and again the staff was lovely! The room was very clean and spacious. We wish we could have stayed more. Will not hesitate to book here again next time! Looking forward to it already! Go raibh mile maith agaibh!

The staff are extremely friendly and absolute angels. The food is to die for. Literally. The pepper sauce? Forged by the gods. The steak? So juicy I could stay hydrated for a year and a day. The chicken you ask? So tender I cried. The chowder you say? So fresh I ate it off a fishing rod. Overall, 10/10.
