We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights just last week as part of a mini break across Ireland for our Wedding Anniversary. From the minute we entered the hotel there were proceedures in place to meet the current guidelines, plenty of notices up and hand sanitizers everywhere, which was a lovely reassurance and showed the hotel were taking everything pretty seriously. The young lady at reception was delightful upon check in and ran through every little detail with us, breakfast times, dinner bookings, tea and coffee facilities if needed, etc... she was extremely warm and friendly and we couldn't have asked for more.

Upon checking into our room we were very pleased with the room and the amenities, the view was superb and we enjoyed looking out at the water each evening, we had a slight little issue with the room upon checkout..but a lovely lady at reception resolved that for us as well with no fuss, so absolutely no complaints there and our stay was not impacted whatsoever!

The breakfast service in the hotel is superb, your chef is fantastic and they were honestly the best breakfasts I've ever had..period! The dinners were also beautiful in the evening, so much so..we ate 3 courses each night in the cocktail bar and had a few lovely cocktails as well to wash that down. The dining experience at this hotel is second to none, the waiting staff are all amazing, they're a credit to the hotel. I dont think we passed one employee throughout our stay that didn't have a big smile on their face and shouted hello each time they saw us!

Overall we had a wonderful anniversary stay, we loved our time in your hotel and we cannot wait to come back, 2 nights was not long enough and we've returned home craving the delicious food and warm atmosphere of Caisleain. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

This is a 3 star hotel that is in a beautiful seaside village that is spotless and the staff are very friendly and professional .The food here is simply incredible and is by far the best hotel food I have ever eaten .I feel I must give a special Mention to the Standard of Fish supplied
here and the value of the produce offered,it is Truly unique in Ireland.
If you get the opportunity to dine or stay here ,I would suggest you grasp the opportunity with both hands .Hotels that supply food and overall service of this standard ,are few and far between.
I am counting the days until my next opportunity to visit.

Stayed here over the weekend of 7th - 9th August 2020. Unreal friendly safe comfortable atmosphere. All covid precautions in place sanitizer everywhere. Staff excellent. Check in & check out were swift & incredibly informative. Once your booked in for breakfast your table is assigned so no rigid booking time required. Dinner was so relaxed & the food was amazing. The setting of this hotel is ideal. Views... well its Donegal do I need to elaborate?! Location ideal everything literally 10mins or so away beach, golf course, airport, shops
Will definitely be planning a trip back here for longer we were sad to leave. We were a family group & we were all 100% happy with everything. We'll done to all the management & team a beautifully run business. 5*

Like many this year we decided on a staycation. We booked in for one night and upgraded our room which is well worth the small price lovely views over the water. Family had joined us for an evening meal and we had what I can only describe as the best seafood of our 10 days on the road. Service was prompt social distancing was adhered to plenty of room between tables. Food was amazing star of the show for me was the oysters truely Devine. Food was a mixture of fish meat chicken between all our party and everything was delicious and home made a truely hidden wee gem in co donegal. 100% we will make the trip back here for another wee night away in near future. Ps the breakfast if staying is fantastic also.

We welcomed the new year and decade in at our favourite hotel Caisleain Oir,in the picturesque village of Annagry, Co Donegal. The family and staff go above and beyond to make you welcome no matter how busy they are. The hotel was extremely busy over this period for food, however this had no impact whatsoever on the consistent quality of the food and service you receive. The restaurant area has recently been refurbished, and we enjoyed wonderful breakfast in this relaxing room overlooking the bay. The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable. The surrounding area is just stunning for hill walking, the beaches are idyllic, even in winter. We would not consider anywhere else in Donegal. I have no hesitation in recommending Caisleain Oir

We have just returned from another wonderful experience in ‘Jack’s’. This hotel is run with friendly and helpful staff. It is spotless. Each member of staff welcomes you with a warm smile and a quick step to ensure you will have the best time. Some of the bedrooms are overlooking the bay. It really is breathtaking to look at.
They have an excellent restaurant that has a nice selection of local seafood and steaks. I would recommend having a look at the menu and make sure to book a table to avoid disappointment. The bar each evening has local talented musicians playing traditional music. The perfect mixture of a pint of Guinness, good music, good company is the perfect way to spend an evening.
The outside also has ‘The Hatch’. This is a well organised outside seating area where you can get a drink and order food. All food is delivered to you by the staff in the hotel. We sat for a few afternoons looking out towards The Atlantic Bay and feeling the warm sun shine on our back- does life get any better?
We will return in the near future.

We had often called at this hotel whilst in Donegal, but until now had never stayed. We were very impressed by the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. We dined in the bar and, as always, the food was excellent. The room was immaculate and well equipped. A very comfortable bed ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was superb, from the fresh fruit to the breads and perfectly cooked hot food. This is a wee gem which we will be returning to in the near future

We visited Caislean Óir today and we both wish to compliment the restaurant and staff from the moment we entered until we left the building.Your staff were among the most efficient, professional, mannerly and obliging either of us ever encountered. Our food was to die for and was served very quickly and so beautifully presented and tasty(Compliments to chef).

I had the great pleasure of stopping four nights here and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast is normally at 8am but we needed to be on site by 8, therefore the hotel took our breakfast order in the vening and it was ready for us at 7.30, and that was a full cooked breakfast. The rooms were exceptional and the food in the restaurant was beyond belief. The quality and volume of food was amazing and this showed by the number of locals who used the facility every night. The staff were courtious, polite, efficient and turned out very professionally. I cannot fault this hotel in any way.
My only additional recommendation is ti book a bay view room.

Breakfast at this hotel represents excellent value for money, however if you just require toast in the morning I’m sure the staff would only be too happy to accommodate your request at a reduced cost ! I can’t think of any other establishment near hand who could offer you anything !

It was certainly central for our purposes. We were visiting our mother and doing a little sight seeing in the area. Perhaps if you asked the hotel staff they would be able to better advise you. The hotel was lovely and the staff super friendly and helpful.
