A lovely gem. Friendly welcome, clean, comfortable and spacious. Spectacular views and an excellent breakfast. So good we tried to stay longer but was fully booked. We were welcomed by a lovely couple and felt very at home and safe. Highly recommend.
We felt really comfortable staying in this bed and breakfast for two nights. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful. They provided a menu so you could select what you wanted from it and there was a great selection on it. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. John was great and he provided us with lots of information about the area and where to visit. The location is nice and quiet and it is very close to both Kilkee and the Cliffs. The view from the rooms were lovely and the showers were very nice. We would highly recommend staying here.
We just spent two wonderful days staying at Clonmore Lodge. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We didn’t eat there. Our hosts were among the most friendly and thoughtful people we have encountered on our many travels. Can’t wait to return.
A lovely family run this B/B .Nice clean place with a great breakfast choice (try the pancakes) John the grandfather is a mine of info. Books and maps to use and John's tips. For your evening meal try the Bellbridge House Hotel 7min drive. So much to see Morher, The Burren.
We were greeted with "welcome home"! The Daly's were top notch hosts. Much more like staying with family than strangers. Clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful setting. Nice bathroom, comfortable beds. We got a guided tour of the town of my ancestors. Mr Daly was very knowledgeable of general Irish history and provided much information specific to our family. We even met a new cousin arranged by Mrs. Daly! Staying here was a highlight of our travels. We would go back in a heartbeat!
We were a group of 5. The host family was so kind and welcoming, really making us feel at home. They arranged for transportation from the airport and to attractions. The location is very relaxing and quiet. It was pleasant to walk around the area. The breakfast was good and accommodating, and tea and scones were a nice touch.
We are a family of 4 and stayed 1 night at Clonmore Lodge. The family room was for one night o.k. But for a longer stay it is too small. All was tidy and we got a very good breakfast in the morning. The Host Family is friendly and helpful.
My husband and I were on a driving holiday of Ireland and camping almost the entire way, but booked Clonmore Lodge last minute as we found ourselves in the middle of a hurricane (not ideal for putting up a tent). The rooms were clean and bed comfortable, but what really made this place was the host. John and his family were so kind and welcoming and once we were settled into our room we were invited into the living room for a cup of coffee and some jam scones. We chatted with John about Ireland, Brexit, the weather - a bit of everything really! - and it made us feel very much at home and at ease. The following morning we were leaving early so didn't stay for breakfast, but John saw us off with some final tips of things to see. We should have taken him with us as a personal guide!…
Wonderful home with a nice location and super friendly hosts. Great breakfast with lots of choices! Especially thankful for all the helpful advice from John. So glad we decided to change our plans based on his advice. Saw some fantastic sites! Highly recommend!
