Went for the wine tasting menu which was as incredible as every dish served up. Amazing experience and service from the pre drinks in the adjoining bar to meeting Nevin after our fantastic meal. A real treat and truly worth the expense.

This is our second time to visit MacNean House. Sept 2015 and Dec 2016. The food was delicious each time, that we are planning to go back in 2017. As we stayed for 2 days both times, after the divine breakfast, we didn't eat another thing, until the 6.0C dinner sitting. Along with the scrumptious food, the staff are just...

We enjoyed a very special night in MacNean's. The welcome was gracious despite arriving before our rooms were ready. We enjoyed an excellently made cocktail and went off for a walk in nearby Florence Court. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The meal was an absolute treat from the canapés that we had with champagne in the bar all the...

First time at New Year, stayed at town house, very good and close by. The evening started with complimentary prosecco, lovely menu, food and service excellent as usual. Great music in bar for New Year, and another complimentary drink to see the new year in. Breakfast again a delight. Have booked next year already

I have been to Mac nean house a few times now and am so impressed! Food outstanding! Service fabulous and great value for money. An experience to be enjoyed! The rooms in the house are fabulous, I have stayed at the townhouse and wouldn't do so again. Much prefer to stay at Mac nean house.

We had booked our meal a year and a half earlier and I was afraid the food would not live up to my expectations. But from the moment we walked into the restaurant until we left that night everything both staff and food were amazing and even outpassed my expectations. As this was our first visit we went for the...

This was the second year we visited MacNeans in Blacklion (for our birthdays!). We stayed in the junior suite. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a king size bed. The real treat however, in this hotel, is the food! Nevan Maguire is the Head chef and the food he produces is stunning. We had the tasting menu and...

Great food, great service. This is how all food should be cooked and served. If you like your plate piled high this is not the place for you, but if you appreciate good food and wine this place is a must. We will be back - again and again
