Really enjoyed our overnight stay in the hotel on Monday night. Enjoyed golf in the afternoon with sunshine & fabulous lake views, followed by lovely food & atmosphere. Lovely breakfast on Tuesday morning followed by walk by the lake. Very good value for money
We stayed last weekend in this beautiful hotel, the views are stunning, weekend played golf had the most fabulous suite with fantastic views, dinner was delicious, a man Liam really asset to this hotel ,charming man that gets your name first time cannot do enough, we'll definitely return to this fabulous place.
My partner and I were staying at an Airbnb nearby and were recommended to dine here. Our dinner was absolutely wonderful and they were able to see us right away even though we had no reservations. The staff was absolutely lovely and accommodating, particularly Kelly, whose personality and fantastic sense of humor were a high point of the evening. The manager, Liam, stopped by to check on us and we felt very cared for. The grounds are absolutely spectacular and made our evening meals feel like a special occasion.
Stayed here for fishing on Lough Sheelin. Room, clean and tidy . Staff helpful, great food and drinks with golf course at front of the hotel. Great view and walks around Lough Sheelin and we found it very peaceful. They also hire small boats for fishing on the Lough but you have to bring your own engine. We had to find a boat elsewhere. it was a pity as it would have been so handy to have walked down to the Lough at the hotel for our boat.
We had dinner in Crover last night 30th April. It was simply Fantastic. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The service was brilliant and the food was amazing. Fillet steak on the stone was exceptional- beautiful meat and presentation was excellent. We must mention Abbie who looked after our table - she was fantastic and a mention to the concierge Liam who was friendly, welcoming and had a great sense of humour. We were a table of five and we all came alway from Crover full of admiration for the Hotel, Food & Staff.
We booked a family celebration here - my parent's 60th wedding anniversary and we could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. The staff here are the most friendly, helpful and good natured people who could not do enough for you. From the minute Liam spies new arrivals, the tone is set and the welcome is warm and genuine. He made mum and dad feel so special throughout their stay and his singing was captivating. The food is great - the menu is wide and varied and there was something to suit everyone. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the location is perfect - the lake view is an amazing view to start the day. Special thanks go to the receptionist and ultimately the chef for going over and beyond and saving the day... as we arrived I realised I had left the cake behind! I was gutted. My husband was going to head back home for it (90minutes away) and I was telling the receptionist and asked if she knew if anything could be done so we could mark the occasion. She said to leave it with her and after speaking to the chef he pulled out all the stops and made the most delicious cake with an anniversary message on it. I was completely blown away. Crover House hotel is a hidden gem.... from the youngest to the oldest everyone was sad to leave. It was our first visit but it won't be our last!…
Stayed in Crover house recently with 3 other couples. We booked in for bed, breakfast, dinner and a round of golf and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The grounds of the hotel over look the lake which means the view is beautiful. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal in the hotel and were entertained later by live music in the bar. The staff were both professional and pleasant. We will definitely return in the future
We, as family of 4 adults and 2 kiddies, attended Crover House on Easter Sunday. We were immediately met by Liam, and my goodness what a welcome, he was absolutley amazing, could not do enough for us or for anyone else that came near the hotel. What a wonderful man. Karla served us and she was absolutely gorgeous, professional, polite nothing to much trouble, an amazing asset did the hotel proud. All staff we encountered were fabulous.
We had Afternoon Tea here for Mothers Day this year and it was superb. The views here of the lake are stunning, really breathtaking. The team at the hotel are lovely and the Afternoon Tea itself was not only reasonably priced but delicious and plentiful too. Already booked in for July again 😇
My wife,Jo,and I are just back from a three night stay in the fantastic Crover House Hotel. We arrived last Sunday to glorious sunshine and a lovely warm welcome from Liam the guest relations guy as did every other guest, he really is the face of Crover House. .. On to reception and check-in where we were checked in by the ever efficient Mary who is a huge asset to the hotel with her friendliness . We also dealt with Edward on reception who was extremely helpful and pleasant . The food was also excellent both at breakfast and dinner and the staff once again so good at their job and so friendly and made us very welcome. Looking forward to returning to Crover House Hotel.
