What a wonderful little B&B! Mary greeted my grandmother and I warmly with much needed coffee after our long flight from Australia and proceeded to make sure every little detail was met with care. The room was beautiful and spacious, the breakfast plentiful and delicious,...More

Thank you both so much and I hope you enjoyed your visit, and got to all the places we talked about.
Had 1 night in Sandyhills, had a great welcome from Mary, huge room, all spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was faultless, very easy to over indulge. The scrambled eggs were golden yellow. Would stay again in the drop of a hat.
Je remercie Mary pour son accueil, Sa maison est magnifique et chaleureuse; Le petit déjeuner fut excellent. B&B proche de la mer (3 mn) à pied. Tout est meublé avec gout. Literie super. On se sent comme a la maison.

The train station is not exactly within walking distance. There is bus transportation close by that can take you into some of the nearby towns. The town of Skerries is a nice day trip. Mary is a wonderful hostess and will offer you advice on places to eat and things to see. Hope you enjoy your trip and as much as I did.
It is very easy, especially if you aren't pulling your luggage as I was. There are buses that run frequently close by. The trip from the airport via bus was very easy also. There are bus passes that work well also.
