Stayed here for 1 night. Nuala was very helpful and extremely friendly. Lovely campsite and well kept . We were informed before we arrived that the shower and toilet block would not be open due to COVID. That suited us fine as we prefer to use our own shower and toilets in our caravan at the moment anyway. It can be a tight squeeze just before entrance which we were informed of before we arrived but a great time we had. Would definitely recommend this beautiful campsite

We were coming home from France via Rosslare, rang Nula and she happily allowed us to stay overnight at Donard. We had EHU and full use of the toilet block. Lovely site with nice views. Only two minute walk in to the village.

Stayed here for one Saturday night in our motorhome along with friends in their motorhome. Basic campsite with lovely views. Staff member in reception was friendly and helpful. Weather was awful when we stayed there so spent the time in our vans or sitting outside under our awnings. Didn't use any of the campsite facilities. Was quite a pleasant stay catching up with friends. That is until the next afternoon around 12.30pm the owner pulled up beside us in our car as we were tidying up to leave and asked us if we were staying a second night. When we said no thank you we unfortunately had school and work the next day, she roared at us that we should be well gone by now. When we apologised and explained that we hadn't been advised of check out time on arrival she screamed back "Well can you not read the signs in the toilets?!". We again explained that we hadn't used any of the facilities as we had our own toilets and showers so hadn't been aware of this and that we'd be gone within 10 mins. Bare in mind this was a Sunday and we were the only guests on the campsite. We've stayed in many many campsites over the last 8 years in Ireland and abroad and we've never come across such a rude campsite owner. All of this was in front of 5 young children who were quite upset. We've since heard from others that she has issues, however when you're running a business even a smattering of customer service is minimum requirement especially given the prevalence of excellent aires, Motorhome friendly bars and restaurants and the fact that motorhomers often prefer NOT to use campsites as we are fully self contained and can park up anywhere a car can. I would not recommend this campsite nor would I ever return. One star given as leaving none is not an option.

The owner is a horrid woman, who reeks of alcohol. Having to deal with her appalling demeanor will leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future!

Great location for treks in Wicklow. Nuala was very helpful on the phone and polite upon arrival. There’s wasn’t a lot of kids so we found the peace and quiet that we were looking for. Toilets are kitchen could do with renovation. Also it would be great if kitchen had a kettle, microwave and toaster.
