We came across this hotel by chance and it turned out to be a wonderful hotel. The (very new) owner seems determined to make a real success of the hotel, and was very attentive to the guests. There is a lovely pool with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. The breakfast was super and served on the terrace. The room was very clean and quiet. Highly recommended for a short stay.
Easy enough to find as it's just outside Montagnac - but don't try to check in before 6pm as the electronic gates are firmly locked down until then! A purpose-built, family-run hotel, room 5, which we occupied, was situated on the ground floor and overlooked the 'fenced-off' good sized swimming pool. The room was of a decent size and air-conditioned, with a separate shower room and separate toilet. Pleasant evening having a beer sat outside on the dining room patio overlooking the pool. Walking opportunities just next to the Hotel if you're so inclined. Had an early start the next day so didn't take breakfast here. If you don't mind reasonably basic then can recommend this very clean and comfortable hotel.
If you don't want to stay in the narrow crowded lanes of Montagnac, Pezenas or Meze, but prefer to stay in the countryside, then this hotel may be for you. Nice and quiet hotel just a few minutes drive from Montagnac, on the road to Meze, with spacious, comfortable rooms with view, overlooking the swimming pool. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful; and there is ample free parking. Room prices are quite reasonable. Bar prices are very good, and the pool is well maintained. Has a motel-style structure but with hotel comforts. Breakfast is typical continental but reasonably priced. Evening menu seems limited so you might be better off driving to the Meze port for dinner.
You get what you pay for. Rooms are basic but clean, as is the bathroom, shower etc but towels were a bit thin! The decor in the room is rather tired, stained carpet and rather old fashioned bedspread but for one night, it suffices. The reception is very welcoming and we also ate the evening meal (menu du jour - so no choice) which was tasty and plenty of it and the service was good. A reasonable choice of beers and local wine by the glass or carafe, as well as more expensive bottles. We paid just under 90€ for the room and the evening meal, including drinks for two (no breakfast as we were going to meet friends elsewhere). We have paid way more than this for some awful hotels so I rate this a fair value for money. It's more a business travellers type hotel rather than a couple holidaying type hotel (don't be fooled by the pool!) but adequate in every way for a one-nighter when on the road. It's a family run hotel and they try to make everyone welcome.…
I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist. Accommodation was clean and spacious and parking was good. Situated just outside Mantagnac there is a swimming pool and nice restaurant which we did not use. Good value at a very good price.
This is an small, inexpensive motel-type hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, air-conditioned, looking out over the pool and vines. The bathroom was very simple with a wash basin, shower and hair dryer. Separate toilet. Ample parking near the rooms, set near a busy road but we didn't hear noise when we were in the bedrooms - the loudest noise was a very pleasant one made by the hundreds of cicadas in the pines around the hotel. There was a set menu for dinner but it was local produce and well prepared. Breakfast was fresh bread and croissants with butter and jam, quite acceptable. Ample opportunity to go walking among the vines.
This hotel is recently renovated, it is spotless with not a speck of dirt anywhere. I could not find a thing wrong with this hotel. Highly recommended.
