Worse than awful. I stayed here in February while a wedding was going on. The service was awful. They did not prepare for the amount of guests, so they didn't even have water available the day after. The place was dirty the next day. I would not return and would not recommend this place.
The Antu Malal Hotel is a stylish European-inspired hotel central to the dinosaur sites of Neuquen Province. Whilst the hotel is very comfortable, North Americans may miss the lack of a refrigerator in the room or access to an ice machine. All travellers would probably appreciate the ability to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room, however this is not possible. The restaurant offers very good full evening meals with service beginning at 9 pm (2100 hrs) in true Argentine fashion. Breakfast is included in the room rates and is tasty if not extensive by Argentine standards (juice, fresh fruit salad, excellent fresh pastries, scrambled eggs, sliced ham, sliced cheese, cafe con leche or tea.) The indoor and outdoor pools are attractive and well-maintained. The gym facilities are strangely disappointing given the size and newness of the hotel: two stationary bikes and a universal machine. …
