This was our first visit to France and it will not be our last. Arrived about 8.30 pm after making a mistaken detour we were welcomed by John and Jules as if we were old friends with a cup of tea (I know it should have been wine it was offered but we declined) and then shown to our room.... More

The owners Jules and John are wonderful hosts and really looked after us. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and comfortable. The highlight for me was the food, truly stunning. I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and Jules was extremely accommodating and was happy to find dishes I could have. They have 3 lovely dogs, that are... More

Staying at Dufreche B&B on the first leg of our trip was a mistake for, it spoiled our stop-overs at other venues as nowhere else on our tour measured up to the welcome, comfort and food that we enjoyed with John & Jules. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, wonderfully spacious and 'country quiet'. Perfect for a proper nights rest!. We... More

Stayed here as a stop-over on a drive down to Spain. This really is the ideal place to stay. After being on the road for 13 hours we were made to feel so welcome by John and Jules. We opted for Dinner as well and the 3 course meal served up was wonderful (and gluten free as required by me).... More

My wife and I have stayed here on a number of occasions and I am embarrassed that it has taken me this long to write a review - so, here goes. The easiest thing would be to echo all the things that previous reviewers have said about the great farmhouse, the wonderful food, the lovely animals (hello to Fiver, Max... More

To be honest I can't think of much else to say than to echo the sentiments of past reviewers. John and Jules made us extremely welcome for our overnight stay earlier this month, a stopover en route for northern Spain from St Malo. It seems that hospitality knows no bounds in their household; we dined 'en famille' for both dinner... More

With low cost flights from the UK, spacious, characterful accommodation, beautiful surroundings, lovely food and wine and such friendly, welcoming English hosts who have become good friends, my husband and I love going back to Dufreche. We would, and have, strongly recommended it to anyone who enjoys the great outdoors, perhaps cycling, horse-riding or walking..or who just wants a relaxing... More

John and Jules at Dufreche B&B are a wonderful British couple who could not have been more welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable with them and enjoyed having dinner with them and their visiting family members. Great food - thanks Jules - great conversation, and an overall great experience. We even hung out and watched a movie with Jules that night.... More
