This hotel is very well run and room hygeine excellent. The staff are very attentive to the needs of the guests and make the efffort to check in with you to see everything is alright for your stay. Dennis and
all the reception team have been hugely helpful and given the current atmosphere with lockdown restrictions have helped to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere for everyone.
The quality of the food in the bar is of a very high standard with particular attention to presentation. I am a vegetarian and the staff have made it easy to identify what works for me.
Also the bar staff are very friendly and professional in their approach.
The cleaning staff are also very pleasant and approachable while maintaining a high standard in terms of
Covid 19 guidelines
.
I am hugely thankful to the team for accommodating my work needs at this time.

My friends and I stayed in the Crowne Plaza for one night and we were all very pleased with our stay. From the moment we checked into the moment we check out, the customer service from the staff was very pleasant and we felt very welcomed. Upon check in we each got given drink vouchers which we could use in the bar or delivered to our room. We decided to order the drinks to the room and I was beyond shocked on how fast the service was. From the moment I called down for our drinks, less than 5 minutes later we hear a knock on our door - a tray with our drinks! I have never come across faster room service than this! As mentioned, the staff were extremely friendly and were willing to help at any point during our stay. The hotel was very clean and very modern which made it feel very welcoming. All COVID precautions were taken and felt very safe. Would highly recommend :)

Stayed here about 2/3 years ago and we were excited to come back, much to our disappointment. Crazy expensive, although you’re paying for location certainly not the evening dinner.
Called reception at 5pm to be told it was booked out for dinner until 8.30 unless “ye come down now” so we did. In the two hours we were there for dinner nobody sat at the “booked out” tables around us. The food was horrible a tasteless rice dish for starters might as well have been left there for days it tasted that stale. Mains was mediocre, chicken covered in an over rich sauce, I’m sure I would have got something with more flavour from TGI Fridays across the road. We didn’t even go there with dessert as we usually always would, it wasn’t worth the risk at that stage.
We would probably stay again solely for the location certainly not the food or the reception staff that weren’t very welcoming.

We organised a Covid-compliant family event for 50+ adults recently. The hotel restaurant accommodated us beautifully and safely and the self-service buffet was of the highest quality. The staff were professional and ever so helpful and responsive. They helped us to arrange a quick group photograph and a staff member obliged by taking it for us so we could all be included. We hadn't been able to have an extended family gathering for a number of years and we really appreciated that we could do so safely and in such a lovely setting. Many thanks to management and staff who ensured our event was such a great success.

I hadn't stayed in here for a while, not much has changed since my last review, but that's a good thing! The hotel itself is still spotlessly clean, and the staff here are so friendly, whether it is Shauna meeting guests at breakfast or Johnathan at the bar/restaurant, every member of staff treats everyone warmly and can't do enough to help out. This is also one of the few hotels that seems to have gone above and beyond the recommendations set out for guest safety at the moment. The receptionists have wiped everything down after each guest, there are hand sanitizers everywhere, and I have yet to find one running out which unfortunately I have found to be the case in other hotels but definitely not here. I have done work in the area before, and may continue to do again but I'll definitely choose this hotel when working anywhere nearby and recommend anyone to do the same!

The welcome was warm by the staff who were also helpful in telling us of places nearby that we could get dinner.
Rooms were lovely with tons of space.
The hotel was convient for the dual carriageway and as we had the car the free parkinking was great
Denis at the front desk made checking and out seemless.
Breakfast was also great. Good and fresh with lots of choice. Well worth it

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza during October/November 2020 during lockdown in Dublin and I am returning in April this year.
For me I had a great experience at this hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! They were extremely accommodating during a very testing time.
The room was well decorated, clean, and very comfortable as expected and made my long stay away from home a little easier.
Front desk staff were extremely efficient, pleasant, and helpful and always full of smiles which makes check-in a better experience Urszula, Julia and Marta are a credit to the hotel team.
Service within the bar was fantastic credit to Shauna M and Karen for all their hard work.
Overall, all the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dublin.

We stayed here as a family for one night recently, and it was ok - just quite, well, average! The hotel itself is very easy to find, right across from the shopping center. Car parking is free and we got a spot right outside the door. Check in was efficient and the staff pleasant. The room itself was of a good size and clean. The TV was of a good size, but it have a very strange colour to the picture, and reset back to the "welcome" screen a couple of times. The bathroom was also a good size and i found the shower good. The toiletries are in big bottles on the wall in the shower so read them first to work out which is which if you need glasses!! The bar was very quiet, and not designed to sit and have a few drinks in, really designed like a restaurant for families at tables. The bar staff were good though, and a standard selection of drinks. There were games on the TVs but very difficult to see based on where they were hung. The bar closed dead on 11pm. We didn't eat in the bar or restaurant but we did have breakfast...unfortunately! Another Irish hotel let down completely by the breakfast! All the buffet food was freezing, cheap white loaf bread, fake croissants, milk dispensers not marked (full fat etc.), no tea or coffee brought to the table, poorly cooked poached eggs in a puddle of water etc. A shame. A slight irritation also - the front desk staff refused point blank to order a taxi for a member of our party that happened to be staying elsewhere. I found that bad form. Overall, just another average Dublin hotel.

I stayed at this hotel twice within the last week. As we caught the ferry from the UK to Ireland, we wanted to stay somewhere the night of arrival and the night before leaving the country. As this hotel was located roughly a 30 min drive from the dock, we decided to book this hotel.
Despite my fleeting visit, I was very impressed with what this hotel offered and I really enjoyed both stays.
First, the service here is excellent. Check-in was quick and efficient and the lady who checked us in was very friendly indeed. When we had breakfast the next morning, I would like to comment that Vanessa's service in the Forchetta restaurant was superb as she was very attentive and made us feel very welcome!
The rooms offered here are absolutely lovely. We had two rooms during our respective stays (601 and 712). 601 was a massive room which was beautifully decorated and, as expected, immaculately clean. The same can be said about 712, which had recently been tastefully refurbished. One thing I especially liked at this place were the bathrooms. Both bathrooms were equipped with powerful showers and were very clean and tidy.
The food here was also really good. I am going to write a separate review of the Forchetta Restaurant (for breakfast) and The Serpentine Bar (for your evening meal) but to summarise, both eateries are well set out and serve delicious food. In particular, the breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty. I particularly liked the fact that you could ask the chef to cook the eggs to your liking.
Although located in Blanchardstown, this hotel is sufficiently proximate to Dublin. It is well-connected to the City Centre via the 39A bus, operated by Transport for Ireland which you can catch opposite the Blanchardstown Centre. As the buses drive along bus lanes, you don't need to worry too much about traffic if you wish to access the city via public transport. There are also a few places to get food and light bites just a short walk from the hotel, meaning this place finds itself in a good (and safe) location.
The only slight criticism I would make is that the double beds in the rooms were a bit small and felt more like 3/4 beds. However, if you're staying in this hotel solo, the beds won't be a problem as the mattresses are really comfortable and thick. Also, the underground parking is a little tight, but this doesn't matter too much as the car park is rarely full.
One other thing to note is that despite being advertised, the Forchetta restaurant is not a place you can get an evening meal, despite what might be advertised on the hotel's website. The place to get an evening meal is instead The Serpentine Bar, located in the hotel.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay at a lovely hotel. I would highly recommend this well-equipped and model hotel to anyone wishing to stay a little outside of Dublin City Centre, whether you be a business traveller or tourist.
