we were happy with the buffet breakfast. standard room is tight, had to put luggage by window sill but has a big bathroom. carpet is dated, bed so firm gives us pain all over, no choices of pillows, elevator with very dim light so can really see clearly about the aged & damaged wall & carpet. noisy as beside the highway. the only pleasant staffs are the breakfast room girls. front desk staffs serious, no smile but quite helpful. 10 min walk to MRT, not much choice of eateries & no shopping. mainly commercial area.
The Hotel is very comfy, rooms very spacious, staff polite and efficient. So far the only thing that is wrong is the breakfast. The choice is very very good, should suit all tastes, the only problem is the hot food that is stored in the on counter servers that are supposedly to keep the food warm, (I presume), do not. This mornings offering of hash browns and steamed egg was totally and absolutely cold, I personally can not think of anything worse. So Hotel great, breakfast nowhere near, if you are going to serve hot food then at least keep it hot..
Although the room was clean and the staff was very nice, the entire facility was filled with a strong, disgusting smell during the entire visit. There were signs in the elevators regarding construction. Whatever that was about, the hotel and my room smelled like sewage.
In the centre of Taipei, not exactly near Taipei 101, but all dictances are good. The standard room is not spacious, but quite acceptable, all necessary you have: space for the luggage, bathroom, tea& coffe facilities, two beds. The breakfast includes western and eastern food, good vaiety. During the breakfast you can hear only one melody, created by Luiz Bonfa, but this track is nice! The hotel is clean, the staff if friendly. Good choice and good price.
The price of this hotel was excellent and exceeded quality for some western hotels. The view of the city from an executive suite made the stay there even better. Always request a high floor. The customer service was also accommodating and friendly. The grounds were clean and near many shops and transportation, many excursions also pickup at this hotel for tourists.
Just stayed one night this week but great room and v convenient location at corner of junction. V conveniently located for Metro lines and close to airport limousine station (7 min walk). Highly recommended.
The Green world hotel is an okay stay but don't book the "minibar included" alternative, you will be ver disappointed! I was looking forward to a cool beer after a 22 hour travel but found only an empty warm fridge. Staff told me their "free minibar" includes tea and water. Great! Hotel location: Very busy crossing not far from MRT and some good shopping The room: Absolutely okay beds, somehow clean but a bit thin walls. Amenities: What you need is there and more than that Cleanness: Somehow ok. I was in the room while they cleaned it in three minutes Breakfast: Mix of western and Asian. Breakfast is okay.
During check-in, I was asked by the front desk to pay in full for the entire period of stay without refund, even if check-out is earlier. However, when I requested for a receipt or invoice as proof of payment, the front desk informed that it can only be issued during check-out date. Why is this so, since I have already paid in full for the entire period of stay?
From the time we arrived at this hotel it did not feel welcoming with receptions approach telling us what we must not do smoking returning key cards etc. We booked with a large king room with free mini bar listed. This turned out not to exist with it consisting of an empty fridge a bottle of water and 2 sachets of tea and coffee available at any 2 star hotel. This is just blatant false advertising. The room itself is as indicated. Beds are hard and not really comfortable. The breakfast on the first day was basic with limited choice however scrambled eggs were available not so the second day with no eggs available at all. Little. Assistance from staff when queried this. run by producing ticket at door and looks like a student canteen rather than a hotel breakfast area. You are instructed to clean up the table and return plates to an area by the entrance this is a joke. Not a great selection of anything orange juice from powder coffee poor generally just bad. The hotel location is ok and easy walk to 2 subway lines Overall the question is would I Recommend this hotel and the answer is absolutely not look elsewhere.…
The room is big enough for 2 person and is very well maintain. It has a TV installed in the bathroom which allows the customer the luxury of enjoying the favorite show while relaxing in the bathtub. The hotel is near to a train station which is convenient for people to move around Taipei. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. thanks
