Friendly staff, but. Big but. Soms rooms are redone. But most are not. Then you’ll find a new toilet in a scruffy room, full of painted-over damage, heavily soiled duvets and bedbugs in some rooms. They also have enclosed rooms where your ‘window’ gives acces to the staffquarters instead of fresh air. Breakfast also below par. Bottom line will we ask our travelagent to select somewhere different.

A great location, only a few minutes from Taipei train station. Note there are three city hotels within100 metres so check which one you have booked. ( city hotel 2 is bright coloured which could appeal to children and young at heart) Rooms were small but very clean , hotel provided free snacks and free use of laundry room . Theres a excellent lounge waiting room and share kitchen just behind reception which we made use of after booking out and chilling until our flight time. Hotel provides a rubber name wristband with contact details, so much better than carrying a business card , it gave taxi drivers instant recognition. ( it also had Taizhang addressand phone number ( next city to taipei) . Theres a great night market within 10 minutes walk which has some excellent taipei street foods ( the deep fried roll situated at the far end is to die for). The subway ( metro ) station are within easy walking , either at the main train station or two other lines, giving easy access to the main tourist sites. Staff were friendly and effecient although english wasnt their best ( on par with my chinese). Would definatley book here again.…

It was hard to find this hotel, because they do not have signboard, all kinds of stuff are a little bit old. but all staffs were very very kind. It take 7 min from subway. Staffs can speak Japaness and English they can not korean.
