The Room stood out with 2 huge king size bed. There is a spa inside the room with a window facing the city. The hotel is isolated from the city. At least 30 minutes to the city. Not advisable because it is extremely dark in...More

My room is on the fifth floor. With two twin beds , very minimum supplies of amenities and in room hot spring soaking tub.
However, the toilet has a very unpresent smell(it is clean, just smell bad) and shower head spray feel like needle.
My grandson is very excited when we check in and see the Hotspring pool.and was even more excited when he see the in room pool. The child play area is also fun.Outdoor play ground is fantastic for the whole family .
This is our 4th visit to this resort and also the most disappointing one. The check in process took more than 20mins, even though they knew exactly what time we will be arriving. They did upgrade us 2 rooms (out of 6), but still can't...More

I'm no medical expert so she should probably check with her doctor about using what is essentially a very large hot tub. Each pool has a thermometer at the end, in Celsius to tell you how hot it is. Many of the folks I've had the pleasure of soaking with in Taiwan are definitely Octogenarians, but they will warn me about staying in the hottest one for very long. There is a built in bench around the sides that allow you sit up to your waist and pour the hot water over you which is quite pleasant. When I went there it was at night and the room was darkened and felt warm and cozy, just being in the room and some of the cooler pools was pleasant as we just sat and talked for about an hour.
In Google maps type in the name of the hotel and you'll see a series of pictures at the bottom of the page when you zero in on the hotel.
I'll be back in Taiwan the end of February and will hopefully get the opportunity to return to South Gardens. If not I'll find some other hot springs to go to, they're always a good memory of my visit.
