This hotel is a good option for a stay in Taipei. Within walking distance of Taipei 101 and surrounded by lots of great eating options. It’s quite easy to take the metro system to get around too. Crucially not far from coffee. Didn’t get to see the facilities as was there with my family and we had a hectic sightseeing schedule.
Stayed here for New Year’s Eve, was happy to be assigned to a 101 view room (thought it costed around USD1000 for two nights) - the stay was alright but was absolutely shocked by the front desk service. After we finished breakfast (not impressed and it was served at the banquet hall), we went to the front desk and asked if we can check out late around 1:00 pm (normal check out is at noon), Kimberly from front desk, didn’t check the system and straightly told us “no” with her rbf and we were okay with it and left. Then when were checking out, we met Kimberly again, we passed her the room card, and her response was “that’s it”, no thank you whatsoever, didn’t expect such “service” from a 5 stars hotel. Having said that, Claire from concierge was completely different, she was very welcoming and was very attentive. Thank you Claire.…
Pardon my review title… after trying out this hotel which many have mention especially with the striking pool overlooking Taipei 101, it didn’t wow me from check-in to check-out … In fact, the only thing worth mentioning well is the SPA which is a different management from the hotel. As hotel guest, we do get discount coupons for SPA products which I did splurge of course (Aromatherapy Associates). I book the Grand Premier Room (Premier Corner Room) with Taipei 101 view which is their highest category of rooms besides suites. Imagine paying US$260 for a room with a small window that you have to purposely stand in-front in order to get that million-dollar view and finding hairs in the bathtub – hairs in the tub after using is common but that also means it wasn’t clean or scrub after guest use it. I know since I have a tub at home too. This immediately was a turn-off upon checking into my room. The only thing I like in the room was the walk-in dresser area… even the electronic blinds were not design properly… it might sound I hate the hotel, but truly I was expecting something better from the hotel given the nightly rate. Even during registration, front desk wasn’t considerate enough that I book this hotel for the 101 views… - I was “offer” a payable upgrade to a suite without the 101 views, I’m like huh? Why would I get the suite without the 101 views that I have to pay when that was the purpose staying there. Then come check-out which you had to carry your own bags to concierge at the ground level because the front desk was too busy. Even though this is only a 4* hotel, at other properties I do not have to carry my own bags to concierge and certainly they can be cleaner in most hotels with thoughtful staffs. Unless the hotel decides to reduce the nightly rate, there are many more better hotels nearby.…
I stayed at Humble House for three week, for a work trip. After spending such a long time there, I do not understand how the hotel qualifies for five stars. I would grant it three. First off, the service provided at Humble House is poor, at best. Most of the staff barely speaks English, and it was hard to communicate on even very basic matters such as breakfast, or ordering a drink at the bar. Quite a few staff members were very rude and extremely unhelpful. In addition, Room service only starts at 7am and finishes at 11pm. In-between these times, it is impossible to get anything delivered to the room (the bar and restaurant are closed too), even a portion of fries, which is unheard of at a five starts hotel. I started work before 7am and finished after 11pm on a regular basis, and I would have expected the hotel to be able to provide at least some sort food. Finally, the facilities are alright and clean, but the AV equipment in the rooms is a little outdated. The pool is only opens from 9 to 12, 2 to 6 and 7 to 9pm - if you want to take a swim you are quite restricted. Not to mention that it is not allowed to bring any drinks or food at the pool, even a fruit juice, which is a shame. I tried to access the business centre and the staff told me I couldn’t, because their colleagues were already using it (since when are the guests not the priority?). Overall, I shall not stay again at Humble House if I am ever back in Taipei, and if you are expecting a five stars hotel experience, I would strongly suggest that you stay clear of it too.…
stay one night in humblehouse taipei, use frequent traveler club (FTCTW) fare with two breakfast. the room have 101 building view and quiet, and FTCTW present a special edition mask for member, it's so nice. i prefer humberhouse stay in taipei downtown.
Very clean and feel comfortable. All stuff solve your problem quickly. Its breakfast is delicious and high quality. I and my family love this hotel, but we can’t use the swimming pool due to frozen weather. The swimming pool is so beautiful. You can see Taipei 101 as you swim. What wonderful.
Humble House offers the room service that "A pot of hot water charged me $6.97 USD." I don't know it is good service or not. But it is my first time in my life living in a hotel and paid for a pot of hot water. Thank you, Humble house for offering such humble room service with such humble price. It is for the first time I stay in a hotel and pay for hot water no matter how much it charged. From my personal experience, I will never stay at HUMBLE HOUSE HOTEL. Thank you and case closed. It is really happened just yesterday and I was so disappointed for this hotel. I'm writing this review while still a guest at HH. This is my 5th night (out of 15) that I must stay for Taiwan's Covid quarantine policy. This business hotel is situated in the Xinyi area, across from Taipei 101, surrounded by newer high-rise buildings and designer malls with a beautiful sprawling view of the city. While researching the list of over 90 quarantine hotels in Taipei, I happened to find another guest's stellar review of HH and that's what prompted me to book. If you are new to Taipei, you will want to include airport transportation which can be arranged when booking HH. Upon arrival at HH, I entered through a separate entrance where Jenny checked me in. She was professional and thorough as she disinfected me and my luggage. She even set up my Ubereats app in Chinese because I can't read or write Chinese. The room is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a large work desk and many USB charging ports. The hotel is extremely quiet, but that could be because there aren't many quarantine guests staying on my floor?! If I could say one thing that has made my stay memorable so far, is the patient and knowledgeable concierge staff. In particular, YaFan, who I communicated with daily via WhatsApp, I would copy and paste Chinese text messages and food orders and addresses to YaFan and she would translate and respond immediately. Wow, you can't imagine how helpful that is! As far as the food, we are served 3 meals a day, with a variety of Asian and Western dishes. I can tell the chef put in a lot of thought in providing a balanced and nutritious daily menu. Download the Food Panda or Ubereats app to order a variety of outside food that can be delivered to your room. I feel HH has done a tremendous job in training their entire staff and I would highly recommend HH to my family and friends.…
As a Taiwanese American, I travel to Taiwan once or twice a month to visit my mom. I usually stay at W Hotel, Le Meridien, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt Grand and/or Sheraton hotel. This is my first time staying in Humble House Hotel Taipei. Due to entry restrictions to Taiwan in response to COVID-19 outbreak, each individual shall undergo a 15-day period of home quarantine at home or at a quarantine hotel. This is my 3rd time staying at quarantine hotel in Taiwan for the past 5 months. And the first time at Humble House Hotel. I would say "outstanding service from the very beginning to the end". I really enjoyed the experience in this hotel. The people in the hotel are amazing. They will try to meet all your needs during your stay. Excellent hard working crew in the hotel. It's an excellent hotel, conveniently located even though we have to stay inside the hotel room for the entire 15 days. The hotel is located in the Xinyi district of Taipei, offering a clean and spacious environment and elegant rooms with commanding views of the city. Rooms are as soothing as they are stylish, refreshing and supremely comfortable. Humble House Self-Isolated Package offers reasonable prices including breakfast, lunch, dinner, tax and service fee. The meals are delicately designed by the chef to provide a variety of Chinese and western style cuisines served in disposable tableware. There are delicious meals to accompany travelers through the 15 days. The Humble House hotel’s five-star chef has carefully designed a variety of Chinese, Japanese and Western dishes to create rich and delicious anti-epidemic meals for quarantine travelers during the quarantine period. Wonderful 15 days of meals have a good taste and excellent food with balanced nutrition, and enjoy a healthy and delicious life during the quarantine period. I would highly recommend Humble House Hotel which provides you a safe and comfortable 15 days quarantine experience. I'll stay here even in the post-covid era when I visit Taipei. Thanks again to the Humble House Hotel team that made my stay a good time, comforting and secure.…
經由訂房網取得的優惠價(一晚約$ 3900多),額外現場加價$ 1500多換了間11坪的雙人房 (with 2 single beds).....breakfast was not included. 房間的設計是不錯的...Big bathroom with both shower and bathtub space. Separated walk-in dressing room which it's also quite nice. But, 房間空間實在還是覺得不夠大, Single bed睡起來並不舒服. 預期中的7樓swimming pool is also very small one....對於有游泳習慣的房客來說,有點失望. 只適合家庭住宿的泡水消暑....所以我只好選擇一大清早泳池開放時游泳,沒人. Overall來說,家庭住宿我覺得並不合適. 適合逛街客入住....location is great .
