Booked two rooms good for 4 pax each in our recent trip to Taipei. This hotel offers good value and accessibility. Their lobby is small and strangely separated from the room access but the staff were very helpful especially the lady whose name I forgot. The hotel offers day tours via private car or van with very reasonable rates. Our rooms were quite spacious and the bath room is large. Cable tv is available but like most hotels in Taipei, channels offer limited english language option. Wi-fi is available in the rooms but there were times connecting is a chore. Rooms were tidy and well cleaned throughout our stay. Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer breakfast but there were plenty of neighborhood restaurants just a few streets away. The Taiwan buffet resto is a must try! If inn is very accessible and just a few kilometers away from Main attraction of Taiwan. MRT station is just a 15min or 1 km walk. Our stay is generally a pleasant experience and I recommend this hotel for groups of 4 pax as the rooms were spacious and the staff very hospitable.…
Great stay in a small hotel. Aimed at the crowd that won't stay in a hostel but doesn't require the Waldorf. We wanted a safe and clean place to store our belongings while we explored the city that was quiet and dark when we wanted to rest at night. This hotel checked all those blocks. We received an upgrade before we could unpack from a very small business traveler's functional room to a two bed room. The staff was friendly and helpful with baggage, directions and recommendations. Well located in the city and within walking distance to one of the smaller night markets, a full blown grocery store (bring your own grocery bag or pay for one!) and the subway/metro. I'd stay there again and would certainly recommend it to friends.
The wife and I stay for a week and found all the staff extremely helpful with directions and they couldn't do enough for us. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We were able to find our way around the local area of Datong which was close to many places to eat and the MRT. We loved our time In beautiful Taiwan and we found the locals very polite, Kind and very honest. Jimmy who was recommended by the hotel, drove and showed us around and at a very reasonable price for 8 hours. We especially loved the lighting of lantern, our trip to Geopark, old town shopping and enjoyed the local cuisine.
Staff is wonderful, room is nice and well outfitted. Hotel is difficult to find and entering and exiting is very confusing. Breakfast was advertised and even listed on the wall but when we asked we were told it had been discontinued.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room clean, but even though we had at the back it was noisy at night, and the aircon strangely went berserk both nights we stayed in the early hours of the morning.
I stay here for 3 nights. Hotel located near daqiaotou mrt station, almost 7 minutes walk from the hotel( straight road). First 2 days I'm staying in 217. That rooms looks big but sound proof very bad, I can hear the sounds from out side, wall crack as well. So I request room change, the f/o colleague given 218 in my final day. That room looks small but more comfortable , bathroom also looks big . I Recommend to choose non window rooms. Common lift for 2 hotels, they turn off the escalators. Service vise , f/o and housekeeping colleagues did a good job. Sheila Lin help to explain the places around the hotel. Mostly they turn off your ac after make up the room. I recommends this hotel for lovely staff and their service . Company need to improve the sound proof .
An unassuming Inn near the heritage area of Taipei city. Just a stone's throw away from Ningxia night market, where we were spoilt for food choices. The inn is well-kept and housekeeping did a great job of neatening up and refreshing the room daily. We never had to ask for towels or toiletries (like some other hotels where they leave out replacing some toiletries or towels) as they were meticulously replaced everyday. This is a good choice for families on a budget trip. Keep it up, If Inn!
Staffs are friendly and helpful, the A/C in our room was leaking after a night, and they changed a room for us right a way. Location is great, not too far from night markets and Metro station. It shares the elevator with the local residents in the same building, it might feel awkward if you are not similar with the style. Morning buffet nothing surprising but they are hot enough.
Great place, stuff, everything was perfect, no flies in the oitment. Breakfast tasty, the room has been changed to bigger without payment. We were very satisfy with 2 big beds! Room equipments great, nothing missed. Supermarket very close. We recommend to everybody.
We booked 2 4 pax rooms and stayed in room 212 and 213 from 19 to 22 June 2015. We were warmly welcomed by the boss and he gave us a short intro on the hotel surroundings and where qe can visit during our stay. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Most importantly the rooms were clean and tidy. Air conditioning worked fine as well. We have abit of difficulty keepin 2 big luggages opened. With 2 luggages opened, we cant walk properly. Beds were good and many tv channels (i am watching chinese programs) Basic amenities like toothbrush, shaver, comb, drinking water, soap, shampoo, shower gel, coffee mix and teabags, towels were all provided. They have a water dispenser which dispense hot, warm and cold water so anytime you want to make cup noodles you can use the hot water dispenser if you do not want to boil the water. Location is abt 10 mins to the nearest subway and 5 mins to Carrefour supermarket and 10 mins to the nearest night market. Breakfast is normal chinese style with porridge and rice, cereal and bread with small dishes like preserved prickles, salted peanuts, pork floss and buns. We are satisfied with our stay at If Inn.…
