Our last few days after a month around Taiwan. Handy to train and easily found while dragging bags. Excellent info in English on how to operate everything. Handy map so enjoyed local restaurants and a Mr Brown coffee shop and a good shoe shop. Good Wifi. We caught the bright blue bus from the train station direct to the airport. Only cost NT $110 - an excellent service. Washing machine and balcony really great. Handy to all the Expo park etc. If it had not been so hot would have enjoyed bike rides from this area.

We stayed here for more than a week in June. The hotel is located right at the junction of two busy roads, and if you're sensitive to noise, you may not be able to sleep. It's also under the flight path of planes landing at Songshan Airport. Yuan Shan MRT is about 5 minutes walk away. The rubbish bins are emptied daily and towels are also changed daily. I'm not sure if they clean the room, though. The air-condition in our room leaked a few times, and when we called the reception, they said it's normal, and to just place some towels underneath. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. A great plus is every room comes with a washing machine including washing powder. Overall, I would say it's a good hotel. I would have given it a higher rating if it had been quieter.

Stayed for a couple of days at Bentley Park Suites. The place is close to Yuan Shan MRT station, close to some local night markets and restaurants, plus grocery stores. Clean rooms with good arrangements for travellers looking for a service-apartment style hotel. The staff was very helpful and assisted with all our queries on places to visit and local travel arrangements. The area of Bentley Park Suites is slightly north of the main Taipei area, but very easily accessible by MRT or bus. Some of the famous night market areas like Shilin are also quite close by and a nice area to visit.

This hotel occupies three floors of an apartment building, with apartments converted into hotel rooms. We had two rooms (one single and the other with three beds) and both were very spacious and neat. Both rooms had washers as well as a kitchenette with a stove, sink, refrigerator, and dishware. A microwave was in the reception area in 5th floor, which could be used anytime other than 10 pm to 5 am (or something like that). The bathrooms were also nice, especially with a bidet. The staff is also very nice, although their English is very limited. It does not have free breakfast included in the stay, which I learned to be very unusual for a Taipei hotel. I noticed that people are first amazed at the cheap price and then makes the "oh, that's why" face when I say the no-breakfast part. There are, however, tons of quick breakfast places near Yuan Shan MRT station, which is in 5-10 minutes walking distance . There are also 7-Elevens and supermarkets nearby so this was not a problem for us with a kitchenette. Honestly, I far enjoyed the variety at the MRT station eateries and the freedom of not being tied to the same menu and rigid time frame of a hotel breakfast. The place is on a main intersection near Yuan Shan MRT station so grabbing a taxi or a train was very easy. However, the traffic noise was loud even with the balcony doors all closed. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room that does not face Chengthe Road. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Taipei.…

Location: I stayed in this hotel from 18/11/13 to 24/11/13. The hotel is located near Yuan Shan Station, 4 stations away from Taipei Main Station. It take roughly about 5 - 10 minutes to walk from Yuan Shan Station to the hotel. If you prefer to stay slightly away from the busy Taipei Main Station or Ximen Station, this will be a good hotel to stay as,it is only 1 stop away from Jiantan Station which is where the famous Shilin Night Market is located, 9 stops away from Xinbeitou Station where the hot springs are located and lastly 14 stops away from (Danshui) Tamsui Station. Below the hotel is a 4 way traffic junction but when the window is shut I actually find that it is not too noisy. Amenities: Right beside Yuan Shan Station is the Taipei Expo park, if you have time you can take a walk there to see all the beautiful plants and flowers. There is also an eatery located within the Expo Park. Crossing over the bridge you will also find a store selling stuff made or produced by the Taiwan's aboriginal. It is quite a nice place for you to take photographs around the area. Located nearby Yuan Shan Station you will be able to find a numbers of eateries and 24 hours convenience stores. Hotel: The hotel is quite safe as there is a security guard stationed on the first floor. The lobby of the hotel is on the 5th floor. (Staff stationed at lobby only worked from 7am to 10pm). On our first day we arrived around 0830am and we showed him our hotel voucher and he directed us to the lift and help us to access to 5th floor. All hotel guests are given a key with additional security tag to enter the hotel and your designated hotel floor level. The staff attended to us was very courteous and nice, she showed us where to put our luggage bags (so we can walk around before checking in) and allowed us to check-in earlier at 1300hrs (usual check-in at 3pm) as they had more rooms available that day. When we came back to the hotel for check-in at about 1340hrs she informed us that our luggage bags had been brought up to our room and she even brought us up personally all the way to our room to show us how to use the key and security tag. The checkout on our last day was also very fast. The hotel had stove available so if you need to cook you could and I loved that they had a washing machine with dryer function (washing soap powder was provided) right outside the balcony so you could wash your clothes. The bathroom was also clean and came with good air/heat control. They however do NOT provide you with free toothpaste/toothbrush/comb due to their eco-friendly policy, but they do provide you with a big bottle of shower foam, shampoo, hand soap.
