Good location, in close proximity to Beimen station and a convenience store located just beside the hotel. Facilities were modern and comfortable with a strong internet connection. Hotel staff were mostly friendly with the exception of the aloof staff on duty upon our early arrival to provide our details and drop our bags off. When we came back at the check in time, the staff was with other guests so we waited at the side. He waved us away and told us to do our own check in through the available computers which required either our name, email or booking number. We encountered error messages upon every try. Another staff walking by saw our frustrations and came over to help. He encountered the same error messages as well and had to amend the details in their system. If the self check in process was supposed to ease the process, we certainly did not feel that way since it took thrice as long to check in.…

Very well situated for easy transport. The shower was one of the best we have ever experienced, the noise through the wall every time our MRI our used their shower or water was very disturbing. The staff could not be friendlier. We would definitely stay here again, but not room 621.

Good location near to Taipei main station and airport metro. There's a 7/11 next door plus various breakfast shops, coffee shops and other eateries within walking distance. Inside the hotel is clean and reception are always happy to help. Housekeeping also did a great job of maintaining our room for the three weeks we stayed there. All staff spoke good English plus some other languages.

I’ve always stayed near the Taipei Main Station area the last two times I’ve been to the city. This time round, I decided on the trip on a whim and many hotels were already full. Just as well, as otherwise I wouldn’t have chosen to stay at Citysuites Beimen. As a solo traveller, safety is the most important. This also includes proximity to the train station and not having to walk through dark narrow alleys to get there. This hotel is near to Beimen station, although you can actually walk to Taipei Main Station. Its situated in fairly quiet neighbourhood, away from the crowds. This suited me fine. I got a double room which was just right for one person. Two pax can definitely fit in - I like it that the shower and toilet are separate, which is a plus especially if there are two persons. This is the first hotel I’ve been that has the wash basin in the main room near the door, not near the bathrooms. I thought it’s a neat way of saving space. After all, how many of us actually use the tables and chairs when we are in a hotel. There’s WiFi although it took me a little while to get set up due to a bit confusing password issues. The only con with the room is that the air con temperature cannot be adjusted. There are quite a few eateries nearby especially for breakfast so food is not an issue. Near to Di Hua Street but I wasn’t impressed by it. …

This hotel is very accessible to many of the eating and tourist locations. The train station is also situated within walking distance. Staff here was very friendly and great help in providing information about things to do and see around the area. The room space was just nice and clean.

This hotel is like Japanese business hotel. Compact, clean, free wifi. Not spacious but enough space to sleep and relax. Location : accessible for Taipei Main sta or Beimen MRT sta. Beimen is little closer. From Taipei Main sta., you come undergound to exit 23 and hotel is close enough. It is also close to 迪化街. 7-11 is next door. There's another City Suites very close to hear so don't get confused. Free wi-fi service. We struggled to connect for the first time, asked for help at front desk and solved. Wi-fi speed is good enough. A bottle of water is served evert day, which is a good service. Seems most of the visitors here are Chinese, Korean Japanese. Hardly saw Europeans or Americans. There are other City Suites in major cities in Taiwan. We'd like to try another City Suites when we have chance. We booked thru Expedia with international round trip air tickets at the very last minute.…

There are many things to like about this hotel. It is clean, modern and the beds are comfortable. It is well-situated for the historic areas around Beimen and also not far from youth mecca Ximen. It is not noisy at night, despite being on a busy crossroads. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. The room was a bit basic for the money, however. Our room had a window (which we paid extra for!) but it was very small and there is almost no privacy for "going to the bathroom". You pull a curtain across the glass but some sounds may still be audible, if you get what I'm saying. TV worked but it was pretty hard to use and the channel selection was very basic. I wouldn't have wanted to spend more than a couple of nights there, that's for sure. Overall, this hotel is fine, especially if you get a good deal, but there's nothing here that you'll be that impressed by or particularly love. It's fine and there's nothing wrong with it; that's all I can say.…

I have received so many help and assistance from the hotel, the front desk are very helpful, the location is superb, rooms are clean and reasonable priced! Closed to shopping district and Taipei main station! Very secured area, walking distance to the Metro station.. highly recommended !!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at City suites Beimen from April 17 til 22. The staff are very helpful and polite. Our room looks great with a modern touch. Bathroom was well-designed and well-lighted. Room was comfy and cozy. There's free-flowing coffee and milk tea at the lobby too. But the best thing about this hotel is its LOCATION. Taipei Main Station and Beimen MRT Station are waliking diatance. There are several bus stops nearby. Plus a 7-Eleven store down the hotel is the most convenient thing. Would consider staying here again if we travel again to Taipei.

We stayed here for a week and the stay was enjoyable. Close to Beimen MRT and if you take MRT from airport to Taipei Metro walk towards Biemen station and take exit 3 lift if you have luggage. Room was comfortable and the 7-11 next door was great, we grabbed fresh coffee in the morning and at times at a cheap dinner there ( they also helped with our train tickets) The only downside is the rooms are quite noisy, our shower drain was really loud when the room either beside or above us used the shower to the stage we had to put a towel over it. Transport wise it was a great choice, a pity about the noises. Nice staff as well.
