Location is not so good for MRT but good for shopping and eating. Hotel room we stayed has a jaccuzzi, that's good for your tired body. Some room facilities are not so latest but it's enough for daily use.
The hotel is in a great location to the food street markets and plenty of other restaurants and shopping. The staff can speak and understand English with is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Not sure why this place is rated so highly. We could only get through 2 of our 4 non-refundable nights in a run down “executive” room before we forfeited and paid to stay somewhere better. Room was musty and smelled of mould, we felt ourselves getting ill from breathing it in. Bed was uncomfortable and creaking. At least check-out was easy, they didn’t even bother to ask why we were leaving halfway through our stay. Save your money, start somewhere else.
Basic amenities were sufficient and rooms were comfortable to stay Provided shuttle bus to Ximen and Zhongshan MRT for hotel guests at periodic timings - as walking can be tedious Breakfast was simple and needed to go over the other wing of the hotel
Traveling alone with my daughter, safety is most important and we felt more than safe in this hotel and neighborhood. The staff was kind and patient with my lack of Chinese Mandarin skills. The hotel itself is clean, the beds comfy, and the oversized bathtub and shower had plenty of hot water. There is a grocery store and a 7-11 just one block up, and the night market is about a 5 minute walk! We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
This is our second stay in this hotel. Stayed in a standard room with no window which did not worry us. Comfortable beds and jacuzzi as nice as last time. Lots of 7-eleven stores nearby and close to Ninxia night market. Close to wholesale section of town if you need to shop, we needed a new suitcase so this was convenient. Staff helpful. Breakfast okay. We were happy with our stay the first time and the second. Good value for money.
Small scale hotel but neat & tidy room for my family of 4. Excellent location, walking distance to night market. Convenience store just next to the hotel. 10mins walk to both station and underground shopping mall. Only thing is the breakfast, restaurant bit small and food variety not much but overall stay is great so recommended.
Amenities were complete, the bathroom was spacious and had a jacuzzi, the room was really clean. The guy at the front desk -Bryan, although having difficulty speaking in English was very helpful. We were able to navigate the city on our own with the instructions he gave us. Upon checking out, they returned to me USD20, saying they made a mistake on the exchange when we arrived.
Wonderful stay. It was my first trip to Taiwan and stayed at this hotel for five nights. I felt very relaxed with jet bath and comfortable bed every night. No complaints. I loved morning roll at breakfast. I put it into the toaster twice, it would be much better than single toast. I also loved salad, fruit and orange juice. It seemed a bit far from the MRT station. It took about 10 minute to walk, but I didn't mind at all because I loved walking along the street. There are some good local restaurants and a grocery nearby. Also a couple of convenience stores are within one minute walk. …
My mother and I stayed in a deluxe twin room located in the older building. Despite being dated, the hotel and room were well-maintained. The room itself had enough space for smooth movement. The beds were comfortable, the smell of the room was neutral, and the bathroom was spacious (with functioning bidet and hot shower). In the other building, there was a simple gym with basic equipment, just enough for cardio and endurance exercises. Check in and check out were fast and efficient. The reception staff, porters and housekeeping employees were courteous and attentive to our concerns. The reception was also quick in responding to my emails. They even booked a buffet restaurant in our behalf while we were still in Manila, weeks before our stay. The location was fantastic. Everything was there or within reach in just a few minutes: 7-11, Family Mart, grocery stores, cosmetic shops, local restaurants, Starbucks, bake shops, massage parlors, and the Ningxia night market. Transportation was easy. It was easy to get a cab or book an Uber ride. There was also a free hotel shuttle that brought guests to the Taipei Main Station which was just a kilometer away. With its relatively reasonable (almost cheap) price, Royal Seasons Nanjing West was an excellent package; it was indeed a great value. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our relatives and friends who are planning to stay in Taipei. And we will consider staying here again on our next visit to Taipei.…
